Well, I know I'm kind of late to comment on this, but this build is a blast. Although it took at least 5 tries. Balteus is a son of a gun, that boss is annoying AF. Anyways. This build help me. I gotta say, I thought I didn't do enough damage at first, but I saw the video again, but thing was that I was charging de laser cannons. And I never got to melt Balteus and keep it on a constant stagger. After I just tapped the pulse cannons and rushed on it. I was starting to get the hang of it. This channel helped A LOT since Lies of P. Keep up the good work, 621.

This was helpful. I spend a few hours fighting this guy. I didn't buy all the gear mentioned, so I didn't have it in my supplies. That said I was luck enough to have one of the mentioned machine gun. That and my two shoulder missles, with energy saber saved me.

Just use dual plasma rifles with laser rifles on back dogde a few times and when you get up close spam and see good damage btw keep build the guys has here just change the weapons

I hate to say it but im still having trouble with dealing enough damage fast enough ive tried several times with this build but im not making nearly as big of a dent or able to keep him stunned for so long. I can get him halfway but after that im killed pretty quickly

@@Elbethium yes. I had done everything I could do at that point. However I did happen to find a build similar to this that gave me the DPS I needed to push through in another vid. Basically this build but change the left and right guns to the vvc-760pr plasma rifle. The 20d gen. The close combat fcs The NACHTREIHER/46E arms The HD-011 MELANDER head. Hit all triggers as fast as possible till it does

Gameplay really did fall victim to ridiculous boss patterns and attacks, and more ridiculous boss grinding builds.

Above or behind = good In front or below = bad That’s really what the fight taught me in a sense 😂 and it seems to be applicable elsewhere (mainly on bosses besides other than ACs)

I literally cannot keep up with him with this or any build he constantly zips away and breaks any sort of lock every single time I'm genuinely getting sick of this

Tried it and didn't work well. So I used the same build but replaced the machine guns with two bazookas. Worked like a charm

Been struggling with this for atleast 2 hours now. I was left with 29 AP left but damn it I still got it

The thing that always got me was that fucking shoulder cannon. No charge or delay just warning sound and boom with splash damage. But the more I play the more mussel memory i get and I had to stop and look back and say "Did I just dodge that like a boss?". This game will beat you down, but make you feel like a badass too.

I really struggled with this boss. I eventually went pretty much fully plasma, and it just ate the shield and health away

all i know is the training module, but it says if a weapon is ricocheting you gotta get closer to the enemy. could have been a range thing.

Sorry but i have to give up. For sure it is a nice and good looking game. But after a lot of tries i can't beat balteus. I tried the tank build, a speed build and nothing works. Time for another game rn. It looks always so easy in videos. But this boss is frustrating af.

Did you do all the arena fights you could at that point? Add points in the OS to damage, or defense. Dont give up, you GOT THIS!!

Welp, no video I've watched has really helped. I think I'm just never gonna get it. Which sucks because I like mech games. I've come so close only to be hit with a random death blow.

Lol thanks watched the video then fought the boss then survived with 24AP and alt-f4 out by mistake when i wanted to take a screenshot XD then fought him with my normal build and won with 2000AP to spare :D was good training session

I think the way you unlock parts in the shop is by completing training missions and arena battles, you should give it a try.

@@ItsSkiido I'm basically done all the arena available I've done every training segment available. There's no way 2 arenas give me so many things, they usually give 1 if anything at all. I did beat this boss eventually but I still don't have half these attachments now. This is definitely new game+ or something. Zero chance you have all that at that stage in the story unless there's hidden stuff in every mission

UPDATE: This strategy is even better now as Ludlows have been upgraded and Balteus's missiles have been accuracy nerfed.

laughably easy, with a few hp left and no healing items. I guess thats it. Ppl can call me what they want but this boss is simply too hard. Every single Elden RIng boss, no matter if called Malenia or whatever, as well as any other boss in is not like this, i could go through every of those games from Remnat over Nioh, Sekiro etcetcetcetc. THis one simply beats me... Not matter the build. Wissh i could gibe the game back, i dont have that time to try this for days. Rent over, now call me whatever

no worries, i didnt really want to rant on the video or something. Sorry if it appeared like that. I just was watching the 7th video with "cheese" in title, where none of them showed any cheese hehe. Compared to lets say Elden Ring or something. There i didnt even need these cheese videos. Here i would love to see a real cheese vid because this boss is very very annoying and is getting heavy on my nerves, literally. I left the fight shaking yesterday@@Elbethium

I didnt even dodge everything i could just to prove how effective it is uf you play seriously. Dont just spam lasers, shoot when he is stationary.
