I have a plaster ceiling. I don't think I can use a nailgun

same question. thought you had to nail it into the joists. looks like he was nailing it anywhere and everywhere. I'm working on this project in next few weeks.

And you were able to hold this up by yourself? Also same question about length of nails and necessity of hailing it into the ceiling joists???? Thanks.

@@cjay233 Yes, find the ceiling joists and mark the walls with painters tape once you find them. You can also measure out their location on the beadboard to be installed with pencil.

@@mjm4ut I take a pencil and mark at the top of the walls or on a neighboring sheet where the joists are.
Seems kind of like a hack.... I do like beadboard but....

lol yea but a typical remodel on a home like this is $30-$40k. So ONLY $9k is cheap in this perspective.
