How To Be Released From A Curse? | Derek Prince Bible Study
Are you frustrated? Defeated? Never fully satisfied? There could be a curse upon your life. Discover how you can pass from the dark shadow of a curse into the sunlight of God's blessing!
If you think you are cursed, Bible teacher Derek Prince instruct you to do the following to be released from the curse:
1. Recognize what your problem is,
2. Repent of anything that you've done that exposed you to the curse,
3. Renounce, declare you'll be no longer subject to this thing,
4. Resist, don't let the curse has power over you.
After that Derek Prince tells us to:
5. Establish a biblical basis of your release,
6. Confess your faith in Christ,
7. Commit yourself to obedience (do what God says),
8. Confess any known sins (either by yourself or your ancestors),
9. Forgive all other persons,
10. Renounce all contact with the occult (by yourself or your ancestors),
11. Get rid of all contact objects.
After that: release yourself from the curse and expect and release the blessing of Abraham.

When I was little, I loved sitting on the floor in the library to hear the librarian read the stories and show the pictures after. I would sit on the ground in the park and listen to my grandpa and all his friends discuss politics and debate on current events. I feel the same nostalgia when DP preaches! Just absorbing all that knowledge and his LOVE for The Most High!❤ Wisdom!

You are not guilty of your ancestors sins but you are affected by them so release yourself from such curses...You are only responsible for your own sins...Powerful

Yes, Ancestors who mess up your life and me having to pay for it..is the epitome of injustice...and unfairness..I never met anyone in my life who has any same or similar problems and issues I have been hit with...My own parents screwed up my life that.has lifelong consequences..for me..their parents were all bad, three of them died suddenly and my dad's dads died in his 50s. Repentance is a ongoing struggle and process...Prince preached in another time and and society they no longer exists..Obedience often sounds like Lordship salvation, which is a false gospel..Forgiveness is an ongoing process, for me at least..

I used to do sleight of hand with playing cards and have occasionally went back to it. However recently I started feeling the Holy Spirit telling me something wasn’t quite right with it so I decided to put them down. Does anyone have any insight into this? I believe I *possibly* opened myself up to a curse this way and have followed Derek’s advice and steps on release.

What of curses we cause by our self
Iv been trying to be a Christian for 12or 13 years still nothing i do all the prayers still nothing from God?
I don't understand the forgiveness part completely. God says he laughs at them and that he hates evil and wickedness. He won't forgive them until they repent and ask to be forgiven. I think he should be saying that we can't be harbouring any bitterness or resentment against anyone because this opens us up the spirits of cancer and arthritis. Our weapons are not carnal but mighty for pulling down strongholds
Is it appropriate to call someone who offended you by divorcing you and marrying someone else that you have forgiven him or her? Please someone should respond
What does he mean by "Christian scientist"?

He is referring to a specific denomination that is called thus. So he isn't referring to christians scientist who are christian and scientist, but to a specific group of christians that call themselves Christian Scientists. You might do some research about them to learn more about it.
