Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, save us! ❤️

This is one of the best channels I've discovered since I've started attending the RCIA at my local parish.

Be careful, this is one of the better Catholic channels. There’s a lot of Catholics that aren’t Catholics out there. I’m a convert myself and thought I had arrived when I became Catholic only to find a dumpster fire inside the Catholic Church as well. Good rule of thumb, if they have a great deal of devotion to Mary, you are probably alright. If they don’t, be skeptical, they probably fall into many errors, like Protestants. This might seem counter intuitive but having a love of Mary helps you see Christ more clearly.

Andrew congrats and stay with it bro. The Catholic faith is so beautiful and the history of the Church is so rich. If I may add an amazing suggestion, if you’re not already, please pray the Rosary everyday. The only prayer that is more pleasing to God is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, second is the Rosary. Our Lady will give you so many graces and will bring you to love God and Jesus more than you could imagine. She is our Mother and She will protect and defend all Her faithful children who praise God, Jesus, and Our Lady through the daily recitation of the Most Holy Rosary.

I agree with you but I'd also recommend that you check out Father Chris Alars "Explaining the Faith" series. Can't think of the you tube channel but just do a search on that and you will find it. So far he's at about 108 hour and a half long talks and still going strong. I've learnt so much from these talks he goes in detail on the who, what and why of everyone and anything in the Catholic Church.

Once it was announced that out parish can no longer offer the TLM, the question arose: do we travel to the next nearest TLM, or suffer with Our Lord at a Mass where with less reverence? (Because, let's be honest, there IS irreverence at the TLM, but to lesser degree and quantity). We chose the latter. We have been given the gift of learning and experiencing the beautiful tradition of our faith in the TLM. Perhaps, though, we have been using it as a crutch, as a "safe space". Perhaps we have been choosing the peace and reverence of that Mass, rather than choosing to suffer alongside Jesus. Perhaps we have become complacent, and have forgotten that there is work to be done, and reparation to be offered. Perhaps this is our nudge from God the Father, pushing us out into battle. To see the sacrilege firsthand, to be given a weekly reminder of what we need to pray for. If God the Father is allowing restrictions, I trust the good to come out of it to be more than we can imagine. We just have to trust the process!

Personally, it bothers me when women don't cover their heads or wear pants instead of dresses, casual clothes are worn and men wearing shorts. Also, Latin is more efficacious. When I prepare for Mass by praying the St. Michael Chaplet, everything is better.

I wish that the whole church would go back to traditionional form but tradition is no excuse for really bad sermons full of affectation and stymied by sanctimonious rhetoric.
