Isn't nu metal a little too diverse for that? S.O.A.D. doesn't really sound anything like Linkin Park and Slipknot doesn't really sound anything like Korn, etc. I think that nu metal isn't really all that defined, it's kind of like indie, nobody really knows what indie actually is.
