Cottagecore is not a very masculine aesthetic. Well, not the aesthetic itself, but the community. People would usually associate it with baking pies or picking berries, not chopping wood or hunting.

I’d say for actual cottagecore: -cottagecore consists of a lot of foragers in their community. •what is a forager? A forager in simple terms is somebody who collects their own plants from a forest, a nearby stream, etc. They use those plants to make their own recipes for their meals. -lots of plants, a huge obsession in the community is mushrooms! •How? If you want authentic plants, by your own seeds and grow them yourself in a planter. Make sure to take proper care and do the right preparations. For fake plants they have them everywhere local to you, or use Amazon or any other trustworthy online shop if you are, for example, quarantined or looking for something specific to acquire your tastes. -living off grid or by a lot of land/woods •Where? a few recommendations I’ve found are: Montana Alaska England Scotland Georgia Colorado -hanging lights look super cute •Where can I find hanging lights for cheap? Amazon is great. -moss terrarium!!! •why moss terrarium? AMAZING addition to your bedroom or general house decor! looks super cute and they’re self sustained. (They take care of themselves) New sub however.
