If you're not funny, you're not a COMEDIAN. If you're interesting, you're more or less a motivational speaker/story teller. Clear difference my friend.

@@KokeBeast23 Wow completely forgot about that comment haha. Thanks for the nostalgia man. And actual standup no. But I have been joining online streams. At first I was gettin mad nervous and all the other feelings you get with that. Something I couldn't control like it happened automatically, you know that feeling when your adrenaline goes up. But the more I do it, the more easy it is. (These are streams with about 150-300 people when they're live and after they're published they garner over 3k views). I'm not one to learn from, but if I could offer advice it would be to start small. Take some kind of step in the direction of exposing yourself on a microphone. Hope that makes sense lol, take care brothaman.

I love the journey the short video took us through... I've always loved jokes and stand up but I don't know how to put some material down... After seeing this I might figure it out coz I know I'm not the only one who will have gone through level zero to go up... The week's progress is incredible...

But still, people spend their well earned down time to listen to be Entertained. Expectations are already decently high, even if it feels "I'm not going to expect much". Having gone to only 1 so far, feel completely near turned off to the idea of attending again. It wasn't just bad, it was an abomination-- these wannabe's seem to confuse being edgy and offensive with being funny (correlation doesn't equal causations). They should leave the super offensive material to the pro's, not that I got ptsd from it or anything, far from... but I would've paid to Not attend that particular showing-- there was only one half decent guy and 3-5 absolute "wtf are you doing on stage with all this deluded 'confidence', horrid material &/or no preparation!??"
