It takes 10,000 hours until you even start to be a master at something. Some of the greatest musicians in the world had those 10,000 hours when they were in their late teens. 10k hours is just the start of winning in a particular field. You really wanna win? Don’t be a jack of all trades. Master something. Some guy in his 20’s who thinks he needs to know how to fix cars, fix his house, survive in the wild, in addition to stocks and finances, and getting in top bodybuilding shape, oh yeah and jujitsu and MMA… and reading philosophy… and this doesn’t even include your high income earning job that’s gonna take up a ton of your time, and your social life and picking up girls which you of course gotta do right? man you just can’t do it all. You’re gonna end up being able to do a lot of different things kind of shitty. You’re not gonna be winning, you’re gonna constantly be losing actually, because you never actually excel in one area. Mastering one or even a few things will increase your confidence more than holding yourself to that ridiculous “a man should be able to fix and do everything” standard. Just my philosophy about it.

You can’t just do that, you need to work on social skills and confidence more than your body tbh. As a bodybuilder and competitive swimmer of 11 years, I didn’t get any chicks before I worked on my social skills.
These are my favorite videos you make. Quick 10 min videos in your car telling men just simply to get off your ass and better yourself.
Remember, wins are accomplished on a gradient. By gradient we mean step by step. You don't jump from the first floor to the second in one leap - you take the stairs, usually one step at a time. Sometimes when what you want to accomplish seems daunting, break it down into steps you can more easily achieve. This helps increase the odds of success to your favor.
Honestly, just forcing myself to do things that I am not confident in. Sure, I embarrassed myself a lot at first ( a lot!), but I learned from it and now I am very confident in social and other situations I was extremely terrible at. Practice and experience win big here. Also, exercising and eating well to look good really helps. ;)
Independence of Outcome. That's the key.
When it comes to "chalking up wins" take into consideration "winning the day"
Gamer here with a gaming channel. Can't agree with him more. Videogames are fun! And its fun to win! But when you shut the game off, that win is no longer relevant. Need to get some on the board IRL boys!

Getting back in the gym has probably been my number 1 confident booster. My body weight is slightly down, but lean muscle is up and body fat is sitting around 14%. I get compliments on my physique all the time and this helps with confidence a lot. I have a background in TaeKwonDo and wrestling but I also started training in Krav Maga about a year ago. Getting pounded as a Krav Maga beginner and then kicking that same person's ass a year later is also a huge confidence builder. Lastly, making bank to the point where I bought my first $100,000 car was not only a confidence booster but also a reward for "chasing excellence" and "doing the work."

Which industry are you in? Can you tell me a bit about your work?
Top things to boost my confidence are: - having visible progress at gym - doing it better than last time - having successive wins at something - having unserstanding of something that went wrong
Good solid advice. I want to add that, exercising really helps even if one can't build a 'ripped body'. Don't care about if you are ripped or not, focus on strength and endurance and keep exercising. It can be anything - weight lifting, bodyweight, hatha yoga (the hardcore type, that put stress on your body), martial arts, calisthenics, gymnastic or sports. If anyone wants to build confidence, relieve stress and anxiety or bring order in life, this is the first place one starts.
A mantra I repeat whenever I feel my confidence slip is this "No matter what happens I'll be fine." That girl blows me off in a public situation, I'll be fine. Don't get the promotion, I'll be fine

My people are waiting for his people to make the call.
Two things have given me confidence. 1 - Being an entrepreneur my entire life. I run my own show and answer to no one but my clients. Knowing that making money rests squarely on my shoulders gives me bundles of confidence. 2 - Been lifting weights and practicing mma for 30 years. I am a big strong mofo. Years of natural built muscle. I am the biggest guy in the room 99% of the time. Whether it be by people in my circle or complete strangers, I constantly get comments or joked with about my size. As primitive as this is, it feels great knowing others are just a little bit scared to piss me off, lol. The confidence this brings me is immeasurable. Lift weights.

I love your videos when your driving in your car.
This is great, with surfing you need to start with a big foamy board and catch some small waves (wins) first. Also, it’s good to have other options beyond surfing, such as kitesurfing when the wind is strong, or powered paragliding when the wind is calm. Finally it’s important to expand your horizons (and give yourself more options): for example, Costa Rica is a great place to go surfing and closer to home, but the Mentawais is further beyond and gives you the opportunity to explore another part of the world.
what has helped me was all the losses, and rebounding from it. Knowing not many people could go through what I went through. Taking risks no matter what the cost of the loss. The wins only gave me tempoary esteem.
Amazing advice 👏 ❤

This is a great video. Keep spreading this stuff to the younger generation guys. Don't let them walk into the minefield blindfolded like so many of us did.

Learning a martial art is an amazing way to gain confidence. I achieved 4th Kyu in WA Do Ryu and felt the confidence ooze out of me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
keeping promises to yourself is a good way to build self trust/confidence. even if its something small but do it consistently. like go walking 20 minutes a day for ex. or 3 times a week and go from there. once u master one than stack on another, etc.
Motto of my ancestral clan (Ross) is Spem Successus Alit or Success Nourishes Hope. Absolutely critical to keep those wins going
Where can I find the video where you talk about the female general officer who wrote to you about me telling her about your excellent KZread channel!? I am getting much better in life thanks to you Sir! Becoming the best version of myself is happening right now. I am searching but there are so many great vids in that list. It has been around 2 years or less but I lately just woke up to it. But I didn't forget and look forward to listen to those very words from you in that video. Thanks
Doing things that are hard for you build confidence
I started gym training at 22 yo, now im 26, it works. It doesnt need to be weight lifting but i think you need to train to be confident. Also, dont forget to study/work, invest on yourself!
Exactly this. Options keep balance, and exercise offsets the crazy.
Fellas if you're in a rut do yourselves a favor. Don't be arrogant. Intentionally set the bar low. It will help you get those early wins under your belt and elevate you out of the situation. Then you can crack on to bigger challenges! Have a good one!
Confidence can come from facing you fears. Also, one need deep rooted understanding that will he live on knees or die on his feet life.
Video games do count, as long as they are competitive and measurable, especially if it's team game. Same as watching sport and if you team wins/losses that highly affects T levels. There is study about it.
Great video. I’ve often thought is it because I’m winning that I feel confident. Or is it because I feel confident that I win. Whatever the case your advice is spot on.

Much of life is a Catch 22. Gotta pry in there with leverage and get the flywheel spinning.
other ways of building confidence is progressing & achieving personal goals in your hobbies such as cycling or running up a steep difficult hill, or running or cycling x number of miles, getting your next colour belt in martial arts, learning new skills, fixing something different to fix, over coming problems. I've felt on top of the world when I have fixed my car at home with limited resources & tools by overcoming a problem at little expense -Especially if a garage/ mechanic has quoted me hundreds of £ to fix. Also building something for the house or garden or tree house for your kid with very basic DIY skills. Something that the average guy would pay a skilled professional to do. That sense of accomplishment & achievement is a genuine confidence builder ✊👌
Confidence starts in the gym building a better body. Things tend to fall in line after that.
took me a minute to figure out the garden tool reference lol
Just be a winner, bro.
Building physical strength via weightlifting gives you a huge boost in confidence. Working out in general and looking good as a result does wonders for your self confidence and self esteem.

See the issue with pro gamers is the chance of becoming one is essentially non existent. You either have to be a prodigy or you must practice so much it is no longer fun to do. In my opinion one would be much better off powering through learning a unplugged, physical skill or hobby than powering through a video game that could go out of style whenever a better game releases.

I agree with everything you said except for the video game competitions. As an ex competitive gamer I would say most of video games is a waste of time. And you don't realize that until you finally quit but unless there's a study that showed winning in video game tournaments doesnt get your testosterone up I don't believe it. Rich, my dude, scars on a man are not ugly. Like unless it disfigures like half your face, you are good. You can't expect a dude to fight a bear and storm a castle and come back without a scratch. It can not have been something women ever selected against.

One of the things that made me gain more confidence was this: stop looking for women's approval focus on gaining more money I used to lack of confidence so much months ago, but since I started to stop looking for approval and got some projects that gave me money, I've started to feel better about myself. Also, do some self-care every day (whatever it is, whether it's eating better or skincare, whatever, just do it.) I'm also starting a gym in the following weeks, so that keeps me motivated and confident. Thank you Rich, for your videos, you've done such an incredible work and thanks to that I am starting to change my life and building myself up.

75 Hard ... Do It ... roadmap to Alpha
First Post!! Confidence is everything in dating and in professional life!
Deep inside every man lies some great warrior. Don't give up your goals. And never forget: Losing a battle is not losing a war. The war is lost only when you surrender. If you see something as a failure, just lower the bar, and it becomes a victory. Every step taken towards your ultimate goal is a victory, not a failure. Learn to see obstacles on your road like a winner, not a loser. And don't go chasing anything else than your own goals. Modern occidental women are not worth the trouble they give anymore.
How to be a confident man is have some brains, stay in shape, get a good job, have other girls for options and learn to put your foot down and say, F You! Make em realize, you don't need them!
In what do you win? I am 17 years old. I got that “win” feeling when I have done great Trade in crypto, or looked at what I have done by my self with my projects ... But for most 17 years old this isnt Casual. Where could I win then?
I think if you hAve confidence I think you would distance yourself and others wouldn't you
Never put all your eggs in one basket keep your options open be aware of your thoughts what do you think of yourself how do you see yourself what do you tell yourself remember this if she walks away letter move on there's too many women out there you have more options than you realize the only way a woman can treat you like an option is if you let her if you let a woman treat you like an option it's because you don't know your true value get on your path and stay on your path no distractions
Which car is this? 😁 AUDI RS?
so does Rich have a steady gf or wife?
Much better in the car.
Actually wining in the video games does work in terms it will rise your testosterone and exploration games do give you a dopamine rash. They are good at tricking your brain. But most of the time they will not grand you any recognition from the group and most of the time you don't get any monetary value out of them. Although you could say that some video games train your reflexes, your hand-eye coordination and multitasking skills, but they do nothing for your physical ability. Well unless you want be good at playing ping pong or want to be a quick draw gunslinger.
My confidence has a direct correlation with my fitness the better I feel and look the more confident I am.
