It works, I’ve done it. Usually peeling is from oil trapped in the casting. Sometimes soaking the part in acetone before the first off gas helps a lot. Good stuff! Beats having to look at rusty manifolds!

Try CeraKote. I was blown back by the price, but it goes a long way and retains its color and finish even after getting glowing red every day for a while.

Why not just put it on the vehicle and go thru the heat cycles listed on the can?

You can do that- but recoating would be a pain and you won’t hit the exact temps.
