Unfortunately, no because the bar can only be set at the top so there's no easy way to secure another bar that goes across. You may be able to secure it with another method but not in this current design as it is. Sorry about that!

Yes, you may need to balance the other side on a chair while you put it up. First, connect everything in the lowest height and then lift it up. You may need to use a small step stool or ladder as well.

Hi. Is it best to add the backdrop and then raise the height of the stands? First timer and have no clue.

Yes, that's the best way, especially if you're setting it up by yourself. Once you set it up a few times, you'll find the way that works best for you. Hope this helps 💕

You can slide it onto the rod before you put the rod back on (attach one end first if you're doing this by yourself). See some of our other backdrop videos on how to do this! Hope this helps!

Is there a way to adjust the height even further? I feel like I remember being able to make the height of my stand higher for my green screen, but I forgot how to do that. So, I’ve been searching online to try and see if I can find a video. I’m not sure how to adjust the height past just turning the knobs. Is there a way I could add a bar to the side, because I feel like I remember doing that before, but now I’m not so sure.

Hmm you may be able to adjust the legs (tripod) of the stand, if it has the knob to turn it then you can try that! Usually these stands have a max height (approx. 8-10ft or more) so be sure to check your stand to see if it's already at max height or not. If it's at max height, then you may not be able to go higher but if not, check the knobs/bars on the sides to see if it could be taller. Hope this helps!

If you place one in front of the second stand, it may be possible but you would need to make sure there's enough room for the legs. We'll do our best to show how to do this in a future video.

Hey! I have the same set! I am having trouble connect the bars? I have one side connected with the bar has the double holes but how do I connect the other side?

We're not sure but the top bar should have a hole where the silver tab should fit to. Make sure it's not an end piece that's supposed to connect to the pole. Bar A should connect to Bar B (around the 1 min mark is where we show that connection). Hope this helps!

Adding sand bags or a counter weight towards the bottom of the stand would definitely help! You can purchase specialty sand bags or weights or make your own, and just secure them around the base of the stand. One other thing to watch out for is having too much weight on top of the stand - we recommend keeping it around 15 lbs. Hope this helps!

The base should be similar, tho it might have a different bar set up.

I see that you have not one, but 2 videos on assembling the backdrop stand. Of course, anybody could do that without instructions. But you didn't talk about actually using clips to attach, stretch and mount the backdrop itself. Which isn't intuitive at all. So thanks for explaining the completely obvious! Yay! (That "Yay" is what you want to hear, right?)

If you're expecting a lot of wind, you can use sand bags like these - bit.ly/3xBjzCK or something similar to weigh down the bottom of the stand. We also have a premium stand that uses square bases that might work better for outdoor events - bit.ly/2W5REZv Also keep in mind that all the decorations that you put on the backdrop will help with keeping the backdrop stand in place. Hope this helps!

One of my stand legs won’t open at all

If one leg of your Photo Backdrop Stand Kit won't is stuck and won't open, start by checking for any obstructions or debris that might be blocking its movement. Applying a small amount of lubrication to the joints or hinges could also help loosen it up. Try gently wiggling the leg or applying slight pressure to see if it frees itself. Inspect the leg for any visible damage that might be causing the issue. I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more issues.

Mine only came with two cross bars SMH!

To avoid the pleated look, you just need to pull the fabric to the side so it's tighter across the top. You can also use a smaller backdrop so it hangs flat or try a different material like vinyl. Hope this helps!
