I recommend a license plate cover and plastic screws to prevent scratches from having it flap around like that...very inexpensive....

What the hell are you talking about? You just kept saying how incredible it was but you didn't mention what you used to make it that way. Some vague references to washing but not really anything about exactly what you were using to get the results you kept babbling about?

I think from what I gathered he is claiming the bead maker or something else is keeping water from entering the engine bay because it doesn't run in the engine. Not sure either. Someone else i saw withe the c8 put towels inside the engine during the wash and it caught all the water. I'm only here because my c8 is orange and this is on my feed

I think someone needs to invent a product to cover the engine bay vent openings temporarily while car is being washed. I’m still waiting for my C8 to arrive.

Great video. SUBSCRIBED! Regarding the water action, it is “sheeting”, meaning it’s running off the surface; the direct opposite of “beading”. One question - how hard is it to clean the engine compartment side of the rear passenger and hatch windows?

This car should of had a flat plane crank from the beginning imo

I get the enthusiasm, but he kind of wanders around a bit. Probably should have scripted it out beforehand...

Orrrrrr, you could do what I do. When I watched the reveal, I could tell from the start there would be an issue with water intrusion into the engine bay. I came up with a simple plan. Stuff shop rags in the vents along the side and an old bath towel in the vent opening at the bottom when you wash. No visible water in the engine bay after washing! I detailed the engine bay with Maguire's right after I took delivery seven months ago and haven't touched it since after washing the car multiple times. Of course, "You don't mess with Mother Nature". I pay attention to the doppler radar and my baby doesn't know what a rain drop is yet. I do know the day will come that I'll be caught out. At that point, I'll have to put in the occasional extra effort in you do.

Dude, the coating does not have anything to do with getting less water in the engine compartment. This time you did not blow water into the heat extractors and you did not open the hood before you drive the car off. Question why do you use a power washer don't you think that will hurt your paint in the long run.

I dont think you saw the old video, he did the exact same thing. Power washer that he is using is a lower powered one. Professonals around the world use power washers to wash their cars. I dont know why you need to hate, clearly trying to help us owners.... If you read the comments there are other guys that confirmed they did the same thing with great success.

@@marcoberelli1689 Agreed. I'm one of the guys that watched the old video, followed and bought the bead thing and it worked for me. I did the same wash on my car 3 times and each time its easier to clean the engine and less water. Charles, follow the steps and you will see for yourself. Don't hate / doubt before you've done it.

Why do you assume people watching your video for the first time know what product you used to get water to run off your C8!? You kept saying countless times how great it works….so why would you not say what the product is every time? ONE COAT OF WHAT!! Most frustrating video EVER!

You don't deliver on the title. You should have shown us how you avoided getting water in the engine bay. We also didn't even know what product you were talking about until apx. 15 min in. No link to the product or first video either. Amaturish, not well done at all. But you are right, the car looks great!

Poorly done what’s the product? Bead maker? My c6 beads great. With normal waxes... what do you mean more coats... what kept the water out of the engine room?
