My pleasure!
When I speak I feel it's at the back of my throat as a result I'm told I'm monotonous

It will more likely mean that you're creating too much tension in your throat. To release the energy, you'll want to support the sound more with your core muscles and bring the sound more forward. TRy this exercise: kzread.info/dash/bejne/c3yH1NmDptaolqw.htmlsi=bRTYDFTGSYowiktW
Thanks, Jimmy - this is really useful, under-appreciated advice! I can struggle with being monotone, so I'll be re-watching this a few times to try to improve. PS. Your camera shifts focus sometimes during the video; it seems to happen when you move your hands closer to the lens (eg. 6:21) and the camera focuses on the mic, not you.

Hi there, yes I know. It's really frustrating. the AF sees my microphone as my face... I should have perhaps recorded it again, but I don't feel it distracts from the message too much.
