New accounts typically get shadow banned a lot easier than accounts that have existed for a while, so make sure when you get it fixed that you don’t go too crazy with posting. The made it that way to prevent bots from taking over the platform

I've been search suggestion banned on twitter for almost 2 MONTHS now. I believe I retweeted a tweet that violated TOS, but I quickly deleted it a few days after finding out I was SS banned. I tried to undo retweets, delete posts, post and interact with mutuals normally and take a 5-day break; NOTHING worked... I have no idea what to do anymore

Remember though, it could also be a new account by a new user, so choose wisely when deciding whether or not to interact with them. Those with new accounts may actually come on with a specific type of people they want to interact with anyway, some will actually want to interact with the intent of helping guide elected officials to make the country run better and to hold accountable those who do wrong within our government. Sometimes if you use your account for these purposes, you're automatically going to want to be careful who you interact with

I use trending hashtags, everything is trending but even then only 1 or 2 impressions come.

How would I know if an account has a low reputation score, so that I can avoid it? Also, what to do when you keep getting shadowbanned, right after it was lifted? Two easy ways to know if an account has a low reputation score: 1. Their following to follower ratio is high. For example, they follow 500 people and have 600 followers. This is a red flag to X. 2. They are currently shadow banned. Don’t respond to anyone who shows up in the “show more” section.

I would try to have at least twice as many followers as people you follow. So if you have 861 followers, you should follow 400 people or less.

I'm not going to censor myself for money. i just got 5 million views in 6 weeks, doing what i have been doing on here for 10 years . they can keep there money

hi. i am forced to reach out to people like you bc twiiter doesnt have a true support system so here i go. I have never experienced a shadow ban before last Monday. That week I was SB 5 times. And by each time I figured out that every time that I make 2 tweets within 10 or so minutes of each other I get SB. All of my bans were lifted exactly 24 hours after the original ban, however I still cannot make 2 tweets within 10 or so minutes or else i get shadow banned again. any advice? this has truly ruined my week and it doesnt look like I will be able to use this app like i normally used to any time soon. Any advice is much appreciated

What I did to fix the issue was only post once an hour. It was frustrating, but I stuck with it for a day or two and then slowly started posting closer together until now my account is fine.

It shouldn’t matter if they are following you, but if you interact with them, that could affect your reputation score

As you start posting again after your shadow ban, limit yourself to one post every 5 minutes. As time passes you can start doing it more often.

While shadowbanned, can you access you account, and just not post? Or better to directly delete the app from the mobile phone until 24-48-72 I had a ratio of 300 following to 40 followers or so, after your video I tried to lower that down by unfollowing accounts which where not real people and stuff... and got banned for 3 days with a notification "Your ability to follow, like and repost will be limited for 3 days" Does that mean I will be shadowbanned for at least 3 days? 1. You can still view posts, but don’t interact. 2. This is a little different than a shadow ban. You are not allowed to follow/unfollow too many people in a day or your account gets locked.

Just keep waiting! It can take a while sometimes. It can also help to delete the post that got your shadow banned.

There’s no guarantee, but taking a break for a few days always fixed the problem for me

Do your best to follow all the rules, then when you get your shadow ban removed just be careful what you post and how quickly.

Some ideas: 1. Don’t post anything for a few days 2. Delete past posts that may have been problematic 3. Unfollow people who may be problematic If you try all those things and you’re still banned, then I don’t know what to do.

I didn’t try the last step as I’m scared it will further punish me. I did deactivate my account and will leave it like that for 3 days and see if it’s good. I think it’s a twitter bug tbh

The first indication is that your impressions suddenly seem low. You can also tell if your replies are being hidden under the “show more” button

@@James-bd1ew 1. I would recommend not tweeting at all for a few days until it gets fixed. 2. You don't have to make a new reply to see if you are shadow banned. You can keep checking on old replies. Then once your account is no longer shadow banned, your replies will be visible again.

Same problem here, I got banned last year 😢

I am shadow banned on both of my accounts, I had a computer crash so started over, the old computer works slowly but my original twitter is accessible. What both accounts have in common is support for Ukraine, I can only assume that this is the issue. also, probably have been targeted by pro Russian accounts.
