How to avoid being bitten by venomous snake of money/I’ll answer for Buddha

We picked up the query from early Buddhism Q&A of Albomulle Sumanasara Thero September 17th, 2020 @ Gothami vihara
Q. “I’ve heard that Buddha pointed at money and tell “Beware of them there’re venomous snakes.” to his disciples. If money is venomous snake, we don’t have to work desperately to get venomous snakes and it’s not worth sticking to. So, it’s understandable.
However, for me who isn’t a monk, money is needed to some extent. What did he want to teach by calling money as venomous snakes?”
