I came here because I was having the same issue, it wasn't letting me select Auto Reframe (showing up greyed out). You need to adjust the aspect ratio first for some reason before it lets you use that effect. It works for me now.

I was making a montage on adobe premiere rush for the first time and it was good but when i came back the next day I was hit with a black screen on my projects please tell me how to fix it

Make sure you don't delete the video clips you used int he project.
Great video man! Just one thing, you didn't explain how to manually adjust the pan and zoom feature for still images... Let's say you have a wide image and you want to showcase it on a 16x9 format, how can you do it?

@@branpod That's what I was thinking because according to the feature's website you should be able to have the in and out previews and draw a square to determine the path to pan and zoom. However I went through their customer service for it and they were unable to help. So I ended up using Premiere Pro anyway.

Nice feature I'm just trying to find the middle of the frame tho 😅 My video is all over the place. I wish there was a horizontal and vertical center option to just snap it.

I turned on auto reframe but it's shifting my videos in a way I don't like. How can I turn off auto reframe?

Click on the clip and then turn Auto-Reframe off.
I tried using the feature pan and zoom and also auto reframe, but it will not let me turn on the transition. It's just grey and 'unavailable'. Please tell me how to fix it

When you resize it you can adjust the pan & zoom

At this time you can't in Rush. Workaround is taking a screenshot of the frame.
Not gettingnthat option even though i have the paid version on my TabS6

Make sure you have the clip selected in order to reframe
I guess you can only use these features on a lab top cause it won’t on my iphone

You can use on iPhone too. When you change the size of the video, you will see the option to reframe.
