LOL I had a teacher in high school that still did the nose-in-the-circle on the chalkboard punishment for disrupting the class. And that was in the 1960s! Plus, we were still using those types of desks since it was a school building built in 1914.

It’s very interesting to learn about history like that and to see what a one room school house was like but I would never be able to function in one because it sounds terrible.

I love to have a educational privilege and experience with some type of beautiful certificate of completion in a pioneer one room school. It could be very enriching and encouraging to have up to a 36 months experience. Of course I will have to my medicine as needed.

In movies and stories I’ve heard of pointless rules like speak when you’re spoken to, I would never obey those rules you couldn’t pay me to have a those rules.

Nah, behave yourself and you won't have to worry about it. School is for learning and to practice self control. Not act like a spoiled, woke brat who needs a boot in the tambourine if and when needed. Behave, and you won't have a problem. Schools were still practicing much of this when I went to school way back in the day.
