At #17, Nc3 is unnecessary loosing the exchange, just a4 is good enough!

on the 16:10 i kinda confuse after the bxNe5. is the knight pressure really necessary? or i just missed something?

Watch some Ben finegold or Anna Cramling they are both d4 players who’s main tool is the queen’s gambit. Ben is funny and has lots of consents and rules that are helpful for beginners and intermediate players. Anna is more bubbly but her play is solid.
