It's always good to see a non-expert do a demo - so much more easy to relate and learn from the mistakes. Thanks dude!

When installing your cabinets I would use a screw driver, instead of an impact driver. Especially for those quarter turns.

Yeah an impact driver is meant for like, drilling screws into concrete or loosening rusty bolts. Using one to assembled particle board Ikea cabinets is asking for trouble. The amount of torque an impact driver creates is completely inappropriate for these materials

great video and entertaining. my only question is why did you not put the thin backing of the cabinet the opposite direction so the white part was showing on the inside of the cabinet and the brown against the wall? Just a suggestion. )

wonderful video you made the assembly of the cabinets look super easy...

It appears that you put the back panel backwards because the white has to be on the on-site and not against the wall.

Jesus, an impact driver on particle board???

I need to hide a 3D printer which will end up in my living room entertainment wall. I wanted to use two (2) 24" IKEA base Cabinets stacked. What can I use to secure them one on top of the other? The 3D printer will be in the top cabinet and I would get a 24" base cabinet with 2 drawers for storage.

How do you attach the cabinet to the rail

Use a screw driver to turn the 1/4 turn screws.

9:10 CA/super glue will sort that out just fine.

My issue is: I have 133 boxes all over my house.... WHERE DO I START!?! How do I identify each box and know how to find what I need?

you prob already figured this out but for any future readers, the list ikea gives you has everything listed per cabinet. when i was checking them off after delivery i came up with a symbol for each cabinet with different color highlighters i.e: base cabinet 15" all components got a blue triangle, 30" base cabinet got pink circle etc. It made looking for them after way easier when its time to build instead of looking for numbers again

By the time I assembled my 9th ikea cabinet, I made the same mistake you did by putting the back panel in backwards! I don’t think I’ll be able to remove it as I put all the finishing nails in to keep it in place 😖 Anyone have any tips on how to remedy this issue? Can I paint the back panel white?? Thanks for a great video btw!

I think the back of the cabinet goes the other way, so that the white is on the inside. Just sayin.

Try a pz#2 phillips drive. Europeans use them almost exclusively. Drives me crazy watching you eat those screws up!

Yes, it makes it much easier to use a screwdriver that fits. Ikea doesn’t think to tell us their screws aren’t Phillips because POZI is normal for Europe.
