How To Assemble Aluminum Floor Rigid Inflatable Boat

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Have you recently purchased a Rigid Inflatable Boat with an aluminum floor and need help setting it up? Well, you're in luck! Here at Boat Specialists, we know our customers are eager to get that new boat out on the water and have come up with a short instructional video to ease the setup process and get you boating in no time!
In this video, we are using the popular Zodiac Cadet 270, however, most aluminum floor boats from tried and true brands like Zodiac, Achilles, and AB inflatable, will follow these same guidelines. All of these roll-up boats will come with oars, a pump, repair kit and storage bag.
The Zodiac Cadet Aluminum Series are ultra-light portable tenders that are easy to handle while supplying plenty of space and utility for all your inflatable boating needs. The large diameter tubes ensure stability and the capability to plane quickly (with proper hp) and efficiently while everything in your boat remains safe and dry. With its sectional floor and inflatable keel the boat can easily be handled and stowed when not in use making this the perfect choice for those looking for a tender to compliment their center console or yacht but have limited storage space.
The 270 Cadet (8'10) is the perfect size for up to 4 people. It is small enough to pack up and store in a sail boat with limited storage or can used on davits as a quick access tender. The 270 size is also nimble enough to setup and take down with 1 person. The aluminum floor provides a strong and steady platform for fishing, coolers and dive gear. The 270 can handle up to a 8hp short shaft outboard motor which will move the boat around just fine for ship to shore transport. The Cadet Aluminum is also available in 10ft and 11ft sizes. Built out of PVC when taken care of this boat should last most 5-10 years.
Please leave a comment below and let us know what you think about the video, the boat, or anything else. If you have any questions, please also feel free to reach out via phone at (805) 644-6290.

Thanks for this. We inherited a zodiac cadet 270 Alu with our new (to us) boat and have been stymied with how to put the tender back together again! So a very big thank you for this simple video 👍🏼👍🏼👌🏼

G'day guys, that was perfect, thanks. I'm thinking about increasing the rigidity of my Zodiac Milpro 470. It has multi piece floor that I'm thinking about replacing with a one piece floor - the boat is never packed away. Just after your personal thoughts/opinions on 1• whether it's doable and 2• if it would make a big difference?I won't quote you lol so please be free with your guesses and thoughts. Cheers, Michael 🇦🇺

Yes, it is doable... Call us directly to best inform you. The key to the 470 is running full 240 MB on pressure otherwise they will flex regardless of the deck. The easiest solution would be 7-foot stringers like the Marines run. 805-644-6290 x 104
