Love the bloopers
Best way ever for me is boil up some water.Take the container off the heat source and then place the end of the hose you want to put the fitting on in the water. Wait a bit and then (have the fitting face down on a flat surface) push the hose down on the fitting. I tries hammer,wd 40 etc but this worked the best ever for me. Bigger hose longer time in the water. I use a vertical spaghetti pot.

Hahaha I feel personally attacked for grabbing a hammer. To be fair I did use lubricant, I just didn't heat the hose enough
I reversed the process of fixing my adapter and suction hose by warming up the adapter then putting it in my suction hose.
Can someone tell me what that tool is. I work in a similar area and we have been doing the hammer and lube method. And we have been looking for a while a better method.
could you use WD40 as a lube or do you require a special type?
