Oh, I've never heard such a cool "is there any chance..." expression before, and I'm starting to feel guilty about not being polite enough))) Now I will definitely use it, thanks!) I can't wait for the borders to be reopened and I can finally surprise foreigners with my politeness))) Thank you, I really learned a lot today! 🙂

When I was in the fac ulity ..l said to the Indian doctor : please doctor ..I want to change my groub from A to B ..he replyed angrley : No ; then he said quietly : Ok . I was certainly sure , that wasn't polite ; but that's what l knew . Now, I recognized the reason of his angry ..Thank you Mr.Sam .
I love the British politeness. I don t think it is exagerated at all! People should always be polite to one another whatever the situation. The British people have charateristics only of their own and which I am.really fond of. You are very special, different from.all.other European peoples. Even your sense of humour! All about Britain attracts me: people, culture, language.. That s why I took a university degree in English language and culture. However, I have been learning a lot about English with you! Strucures I did not know at all! You re a fantastic teacher and you re also very nice. Do go on, please. Lisbon/ Portugal

your accent is so beautiful
Why not - may I have? Isn’t it better than can I have ? I like his “or”. Very specific -)
Hi.... This is a greeting from Kanchaburi Thailand. Is there any chance you would make a clip on the special use of "could" which is unknown to learners of English? I mean ,as learners,we know "could" is the past tense of "can";and it is used when making a polite request. How about the other use ? I heard it is also used to mean something that is not possible. Could you explain more on this aspect? Take care, thanks 🙏.
