Hey, I did this in Australia so Im not exactly sure about the USA. But based on Google, minimum wage is 7.25 per hour (not including tips from customers). You also need to check the state.

i asked for managers a lot of the times, either they not there and the team member gives it in to manager later or the manager is there but just says yeh thanks ill have a look but then i get no call back. can be hard to find a job

i was someone like that too. sometimes im still like that. but i try to be my silly self. let yourself loose. think about it, if ur nervous to ask, theres other people who getting that job. we have to somehow ask even if its awkward
