How to Armbar from Standing (Low Risk) for NoGi Jiujitsu

Armbar from standing
“I love this technique! It’s easy to assimilate into anyone’s stand up game and it’s low risk of injury. Flying Armbars are spectacular to see when done well. However I have seen A LOT of injuries occur from competitors attempting this.
But hey, high risk high reward!
For those like me who wish to execute a quick submission seconds into a match with very low risk of injury, then this is the variation for you =)
KEY NOTES: Keep a tight grip on your collar tie as you pull! It aligns them perfectly into the Armbar pocket and eases your decent.
Most of the time when your hips snap up, they will “panic posture” and give you an even better shot.
If they rip out there arm out of the setup (usually if the collar tie was lost) then you have Guard.
