I got this for free as others have mentioned and downloaded without much expectation to be honest but I now use it regularly. A great tool in the box and quick and easy to use. Well done Lindell.

Thanks for the demo. Think I'll be having some fun with this. Always been a fan of the 2500, but had too little time to put it to good use(I mix dialogue). Very interesting unit, and I love everytthing Lindell has done so far anyway.

Love the simplicity of this but yet effectiveness of the plugin. Gonna download it when I get home since I have the bundle. Excuse my ignorance but when would I use a standard Multiband compressor (assuming this is a stand MB compressor) versus a Linear Phase Multiband Conpressor like the one Waves has? I still wanna play with this though.

You can just click on the light for the function you want. You don't have to click the buttons multiple times.

Curious how you feel about the multiband compressors that have a 'visual' representation of the audio being processes (same question, in general about those kinds of plugins).. better, easier, not really worth it? thanks JC

What filtering does the band splitter use? Something like Linkwitz-Riley, 6dB/Oct ?

Sounds very punchy and usable! Another Lindell hit. (Only thing I personally totally dislike: calling it the "nuke" mode - not funny nor clever nor even appropriate at all, in this day and age... surely we can talk audio leaving war and weapons and destruction and death out of it) Nice demo, going for sublteties. Also, thank you for using the term "stems" correctly, unlike most on YT, these days. 👍 PS: sounds like a great band, too, very Cornell-like lead vocal!

😅?... 6:59 I think there is a small error, it comes with MANUAL gain compensation from the factory...

It would be nice if when the compressor is turned off it doesn't have that response curve that gives +3db at 26hz and that starts at 100hz, I don't know why they put that curve, in materials with subwoofer density it only create a problem, or rather you It forces you to make a correction so that subsequent compressions, limitations or maximizations dont saturate fast at those frequencies, Especially when subtle compression is need it.

Great vid as always, Justin. However, could you explain how this is any different than the 354E? Seems like basically same thing with a new skin.

The Lindell Audio 354E precisely replicates the distinct behavior and rich sonic character of the Neve 2254E and turns it into a flexible 3-band compressor plugin. The Lindell Audio SBC and MBC are based on different hardware.

@@PluginAllianceTV Just right. Similar structure (three bands with crossover in each one) doesn't have to mean the same sound with different skins because they are just two different hardware equipments (although both are VCA comps), one API and the other Neve.

Hey Anthony, PA and Luis got this exactly right for you: They are modeled after two different brands' most iconic compressors, which have two distinctively different flavors. This style or compressor is often referred to as being perhaps "tighter" or "more assertive" while the Neve style compression in the 354E might be described as "smoother" or "chunkier". These are very subjective and sometimes subtle differences, but they definitely have a different feel to me. Hope that helps! -Justin

i love P.I Stuff ..You Mentioned Presets ....aaaaaagh thats the only thing with their stuff that is kinda anoying... the presets dont allways load and you have to search like crazy untill you find them .. getting them to load into my daw is another adventure lol but like i said .. i love these guys and what they bring us .. a big big fan ...

@@PluginAllianceTV Hi errr yeah thats kind of what i have been doing since i brought/leased P.I. stuff. every time i install a new plug in the fun starts.. but its no big deal as i can save my own presets and thats all that matters , its just a shame cos it makes the learning curve of the product a bit longer... still ten out of ten stars from me either way ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

No, but we have made an exception in this case.

I purchased the Lindell Audio MBC and there were no presets. I see you have a bunch of presets on your plugin. I went to the location where you would normally import the presets but nothing for this plugin was there. I'm using Studio One 6 on windows

All newer plugins by Lindell Audio offer native support for Silicon environments already. Our release team is in the final stages of preparing the rollout for all older Lindell products that only work through the Rosetta-2 layer. We're planning to release the new installers in the coming weeks. Once M1 support is ready, you will be able to update your plugins hassle-free through our Installation Manager at no extra cost.
