Since I never learned how to do makeup at "the right age" I always felt like I couldn't ever get in with the crowd. This tutorial really explains a lot. Thank you for really taking the time. I really could have done with this when I was younger. My mum never really wears make-up and rarely uses skincare so I had no idea what I was doing from the age of 11-14. When I was 15 I learnt how to do my makeup properly through beauty gurus. I love that those who don't have a make-up wearing figure in their life or one who is willing to teach them, have access to all the tutorials that I craved. Confused 11yr old me says "Thank you"

Oh man! This video would have been priceless to me as a teen/pre-teen! Honestly it’s still very helpful to me right now 🤫 Growing up I never had anyone to teach me about makeup because my mom had never worn it, & my high school experience was pre-social media. I’m the oldest of 3 girls so I ended up learning on my own (magazines + practice & failure routine) then teaching both of my younger sisters lol. It got to the point that my mom would ask me to help her get ready if she was going to a fancy event. But don’t get it twisted, I am NO expert! Well, unless you compare me to certain family members 😂

Not sure if this is exactly appropriate for beginners as far as pricing and complexity and especially the number of brushes and other tools, but maybe I'm behind the times. Definitely accurate, great advice, but could be a bit daunting for younger beginners, especially teens with low funds. But for meeeee, its wonderful. I don't think I ever had such a detailed description of basic application, even as a 39 year old woman. Big fan here and always loving your gracious disposition.

Could you make a video about the makeup brushes, absolute beginner here no idea what to buy.

Didn't know how to make it not crease or cake, not look worse than without it. Now that I'm older I've started to need a more concealing and polished look. I really appreciate beginner tutorials.

I can definitely relate this was said , I’m literally just trying makeup again and I’m 56 I grew up in children homes and the system as my mother chose alcohol and men . I still haven’t a clue but this video was informative but never to late I am amazed at how some just do it effortlessly lol the only thing I’m not crazy about is all these new layers that are used in some videos but perhaps I just prefer less product thanks for very helpful video 👍👍👍

26, finally decided to try on makeup, I always look videos about it but never really felt like I could do it cause I didnt really had someone to teach me, and with all the videos there are out there for "beginners" this is the first one that I really feel is teaching me with applying it and what to look for when buying makeup, thank you soo much, you've earned my admiration and a new very excited subscriber ♥️

What a great mom Lili is. It will so much fun to see how her babies grow.

The only thing I would mention is that you always want to use your beauty blender when it is damp. I run mine under water and then ring it out, or I use a little water and primer mixed together and let it soak for a minute and then ring it out. Otherwise, It will soak up all your foundation and wont blend as easily. Otherwise, great video!

Well if you want flawless makeup, it takes some time and effort and money. I use drugstore stuff and get a decent result, but I still use a primer, foundation, concealer, blush, setting powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, setting spray, and lipstick. But I don't do my eyebrows, I don't curl my lashes, I don't use contour or bronzer (I'm so pale anyway that it never looks right), and I don't line my lips.

Wow this was a really good, in-depth tutorial and you were so patience and loving as you spoke. It really helped!
