This might sound silly, but what is the purpose in the excess lace if you have to cut it back to the hairline on the wig? I've always wondered why it doesn't arrive without it.

If someone has a bigger forehead they may cut less and pull the wig forward more than she has
@aicilac1

Because every body’s hairline is different, ideally you’re supposed to be cutting it to the shape of your hairline for it to look ‘natural’ She used a different technique in this one where she used her actual hair in the front

That was exactly what I was thinking!! Why the lace, only to cut ✂️ it??
@Iceberg1955

That's a very good question. My thought too is just cut off the excess lace. I don't see the need for it...just saying! 😉

This is helpful, but do you mind doing the same technique on a wig that's $50 and under? I feel like doing this with a $200-$300 wig is different than with a more affordable wig.

Omg finally a lace wig tutorial I can actually follow!! Thnx!
I have learned so much from these videos. I have a wig business for the past 15 years. I am and have been wearing wigs for almost 19 years. The tricks with the concealer and that glue is priceless. Thank you ever so much you have been a great teacher
Omg... my sister, you are SO beautiful. Also, I’ve been wearing wigs for five years now and did not know these tricks. I’m definitely going to start using them. Thanks! P.S. (Wear your natural hair, it’s gorgeous. 😉)
Wig? What wig? Your blend game is amazing! Evan as an experienced wig wearer, this tutorial was super helpful! Where did you get your wig stand?

I think it's too daunting when she starts sewing, the title makes it sound a bit more "beginner friendly". I'm really new to this and that's new info for me! I didn't know I would have to do more than pre-pluck 😅 But maybe if they watched the whole thing - they would see the sewing is worth it to make the wig glueless!!
Love this tutorial! Definitely doable for a beginner, it takes the intimidation out of the process.. like plucking and bleaching.. can't wait to apply some of these tips.
Girl, I would never wear a wig if my hair looked like yours!

Natural hair is difficult to manage or sometimes you run out of styles to do and you need a break

You make me want to try a wig now, this was a super easy straight to the point tutorial and I I’ll walk away with edges when I want to wear my own hair. Plus I love the style.
How your wig and natural hair battling each other?!? Both are goals!! ❤️❤️
Kim your blending skills are on a whole level on its own. Hands down the best I have seen using very little holding products. Absolutely beautiful ❤
Omg Kim you really make this look so effortlessy easy 😍😍😍😍😍. You are glowing!
You gave me confidence that I can do this! I've been wanting to do a lace front to use as protective style and this is ITTTTT!!! YES THANK YOU SIS

Thank you I was considering getting a wig and couldn’t figure out why the lace was there and how to make it look realistic. (I recently shaved all my hair off feeling crazy) I understand better now. Although I don’t understand why you are wearing a wig at all. Your hair is just as long and beautiful as the wig. 🤷🏽♀️

This is the best video I’ve seen! You explain everything perfectly. I started doing drag about a year ago and have been having difficulty with securing my lace front. Thanks for all your help! Much love to you
You have the BEST edges EVER!!!!!!!
Now that's how you apply a wig!!!!!!.....well...if you have edges
Thank you so much for this video. I've been wanting to get a lace wig for the longest, but I was intimidated by the process of applying one. You have given me the bravery to do it now. Super cute hair piece btw. Now let me go check out the website right quick 🙂
FAN-🤬-TASTIC!!! This looks super natural and gorgeous. Love the wig and love the install. Beautiful job!!
This wig is too cute!
It’s beautiful, I wouldn’t expect anything less from you, that price point for a first wig is steep AF! But I guess if you want a your first wig not not LOOK like a wig you have to pay. 😫

😍😍 Lawwd u make it look so easy
Cool! And luv your eyelashes too!!
I think this is the best tutorial for newbies using a wig. I have had a pixie at least 20 years and now over 50 decided to let it grow out and no more bleaching. There are sooooo many ladies using got 2b glue and freeze spray, ghost glue, etc., that after long use have a loss of pigmentation on the top of their foreheads as well as losing their hair along the edges. Your video is conservative and practical when securing the unit and looks beautiful. I have subscribed and will share with my friends as a tool. Looking forward for more smart tutorials. Thank you!!!
You are the best. I have been searching for a glueless wig tutorial video for 5months now but can't see a simple and understandable video until now that I found u😘
Yes she's back ‼️👏
Super cute!!! What kind of gel did you use for your edges?
Love you! You have taught me so much about hair over the last 4 years of ‘naturalism’ lol ❣️ now Wigism!!
Glow queen, you are always straight to the point and precise. Thanks for the video cos am just sewing my wig now and definitely will add that band with ease.
I promise no amount of gel will allow me to lay my edges as well as you 😩😍
You make it seems so easy!❤️
I liked the way you used your own edges, it just blended in and no damage to edges. Girl you are good!! Wish I had a smiley face to put here!
This is one of the easiest make tutorials that I've ever seen. Love your videos and love the hair on you

So natural and beautiful
This is good because it doesn’t use a lot of glue! Plus the hair line looks really natural!👏
