How to apply hand tied beaded row hair extensions - Vision Hair Extensions

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Update! 9/11/2022 Vision Hair Extensions now recommends Invisible Genius Weft in place of hand tied extensions. They can be cut so there is no need for glue. Invisible Genius Wefts are applied the same as shown in the video.
This video will show you how to apply chained beaded row hair extensions using Vision Select hand tied hair. Please ask any questions below I'll be sure to answer.

    How many rows do you usually do? Two? Do you extend just one row to the sides of the head past the ears? So there is long hair in the front

  • @VisionHairExtensions

    @VisionHairExtensions

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi JoAnn, 2-3 rows is average. The top row (or top 2 rows) can go above and in front of the ears. Make sure to to apply the weft(s) 1.5"-2"above the ears.

    hi! thank you for this super clear tutorial! i am looking for a tutorial on how to move up these types of extensions. Do you have a tutorial on the move up process? thank you so much!

  • @VisionHairExtensions

    @VisionHairExtensions

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Crystal, Personally I don't do a "move up" I just cut the thread, remove the wefts, remove the beads then reapply with fresh beads. Some methods you may be able to just squeeze the beads and slide up but with this "chained beaded row" method it would be messy. This is best for fine hair and I like to slightly relocate the rows each time for the health of the hair.

    Just wondering why clear sew thread isn't used, like a durable fishing line so it's undetectable.

  • @VisionHairExtensions

    @VisionHairExtensions

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi, Clear line could be used and it would hide really well. The problem is when you need to remove the weft the thread hides so well that it is hard to distinguish it from the clients own hair. Let me know if you try it. I would love your feedback. Thanks

    starting at 6min thru 6:44 it looks like sooooo much tension on the root of your hair near the scalp. This is a lot of work. Looks like it may cause breakage. Do you have video of this being installed on a client? I've never seen this type of method before....

    Wouldn’t it just be easier to corn roll it straight across then sew in the extensions?

  • @VisionHairExtensions

    @VisionHairExtensions

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Koko, A cornrow can be used too. The reason to use the beads is because they hold better on fine hair, cornrows slip out of fine hair. I also find the beaded row method not as tight as cornrows and more gentle.

  • @VisionHairExtensions

    I don't feel it is damaging at all. Of course you have to judge the strength of each clients hair. Some people should not have extensions because their hair is easily pulled out, which is usually a health issue.

    Thanks for the reply. I have not found slippage at all. Just make sure you use silicone micro rings, (silicone hold the hair), and you have a decent amount of hair in the beads. That is why I like XLarge rings. I have not found oily hair to be an issue although if the clients hair is very oily when applying I wuold wash it first
