I have 10 years teaching experience, do I need to dd an exam or can I use my years of exp to gain the certification?

Tried applying for the license in Georgia. However I received this message " unfortunately, South Carolina's International Teaching certificate is not considered to be equivalent to a Professional Teaching certificate, so we cannot evaluate the experience on file." Could you please advise. Thank you.

Reach out to them and ask them to verify. I am not sure what they are referring to. I know more than one teachers with SC International license that got it. Good luck!

I guess the time depends. All the people so far 5 years is given. No praxis If it is reciprocity and you already did praxis to my knowledge. If someone knows otherwise, please share.

@@kickingwithdrbritton I have never done a Praxis when I follow your instructions I could not use my Diploma in Visual Arts Education as there is no option for it. I am qualified to teach based on my Teaching Diploma. How do I handle that one?

Yes. If you are living in the USA and have any first degrees there is an alternative route to take.

Can you use you J1 exchange cert as an out of state liscence

I want to become a teach I have my bachelors degree but I’ve never taught anyone how do I become a teacher ?

Question, if a person lives in Jamaica and needs a license, can they apply? I see the social security number section as mandatory. Do they use the default numbers for ppl waiting for their social 999999999?

Thank you for this video. I am a Science Teacher who aspire to teach in the US. I therefore applied to teach through a sponsorship company and they’ve asked me to acquire Georgia Ethics and Assessment Certification. Do I have to follow exactly what’s shown in the video? I was confused with the out-of-state- educator without license and out-of-state educator with license and none. So among the three I don’t know what to choose from

The exam was relating to @samantha’s question. When you apply for reciprocity you don’t do an exam. If you are interested in exams there is a section on the side of things to chose from while completing the application that shows them. You went into it to @emin 😂! Good question!

Wouldnt the outcome be different if your credentials are all from your home country? Can you Still apply for reciprocity if you have no college credentials from the USA

Totally different I assume. Reciprocity is for teachers in other states with a teaching license.

@@michellemorrison3810 so you send your credential evaluation and upload your documents. You have a license so the steps should apply. But send them an email for clarification.

What if you did not have an out of state lesence can you still apply
