@@suhails6600 I am no expert in this, But I think yes, you should be able to get PCC. Since you were on Visitor Visa, I think you would not have Emirates Id. And the process for applying for PCC is slightly different for individuals without emirates id then what is mentioned in this video.

I have a question, that did you apply for your dubai PCC with expired Emirates ID, do they issue PCC even if the ID is no longer valid? I have a similar situation? Hi there! Are you in Canada now? If yes, you can refer to the description box for the steps I did to get my Dubai PCC even without emirates ID. Otherwise, email Dubai Police or your local UAE consulate for help. Good luck!

Hi! Are you talking about applying for Dubai Police Clearance? The result of your application depends on your situation so I don’t know how to answer that 😅😂 But for sure you can apply online even if you’re not in Dubai. They will ask you for a copy of your passport and residence visa so they will know exactly your information and current location.

Oh, that’s bad. I didn’t experience that. Are you having connection problem? Or Maybe Dubai PCC is having technical issues? What I can suggest is to try again later but clear cache, history and play around with different browsers (chrome, edge, mozilla or safari id you’re using mac). It might just be technical issues. If your problem is persistent, you might want to raise it up to Dubai Police by emailing them, so they know their website is having issues. Keep us posted! 😁

Based on our experience, if you have Emirates ID, no need to submit fingerprints to Dubai Police.

What is the size of the photo required?

Hi Melanie. Thank you for your video. I applied for the Police certificate via Dubai police website. However, they put my old passport number (which has the UAE visa and stamps) on my certificate. I am using a new passport in Canada and I submitted both passports when I applied for the certificate. I am not sure if that is ok for IRCC. Do you have any information about this? Thank you.

Same thing happened to me! I just have made sure that I included my old passport copy in my Canada application. In that way, they can link my old passport as shown in the Dubai PCC

How do I pay for it Canadian card dosent work ??

Mine was also showing the old passport number. I submitted it as is but I attached my old and new passport copy to link them

Hi there! I think you can mention work or employment in Canada.. something like that. If you’ll need it for work permit, it should be the same department handling it, so Canada immigration should be fine. You might want to double check with your agent if you have one. Goodluck! 😁

i'm not sure what it can or cannot accept. my experience is based in Canada and I used mastercard for payment, it worked. maybe try using mastercard or visa CC to see if it will work.

Hi, If someone lived dubai for more than 6 months but 10 years ago from 2006 to 2008 still need PCC from dubai? In my case I have lived Europe more than 10 years since last visit to dubai 2009.

I have seen this 10 year good conduct rule in CiC website recently, Same 10 year history apply in most of the european countries as well as for police certificates. Hoping to use rural comunity program and serve the comunity for good couple of years and secure PR move somewhere else.🙂 Thanks again for your answer .

Generally yes! You can use Dubai police clearance for whatever purpose you need as long as it meets the requirements of that country.

Hi there! Unfortunately you do need to send them. I didn’t have Emirates id too when I applied for Dubai PCC, so I have to undergo that long process otherwise Dubai Police wont issue the clearance. Good luck!

Sorry, I'm not familiar with Abu Dhabi PCC. If you're applying for PR in Canada tho, they only need PCC from one emirate. That statement can be found in the website below. I dont know which emirate will be applicable for you. I just thought you should know. Here's the link from cic website: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/united-arab-emirates.html Quote from that website: "Special considerations You only need to give one (1) police clearance from any emirate in the UAE."

The option "previous residency photocopy" doesn't appear when selecting outside UAE and selecting yes for Emirates ID ??? Please help

Abdallah CHIRRIG just a heads up, you can proceed with the application without your fingerprints (biometrics). However, your application will be pending until they receive the documents.

Yes you can take from MOI. For Canada purposes, you can take either from Dubai or MOI, its okay

@@marcoarminlam284 Here are the steps that I did: RCMP - fingerprint (Dubai Police Biometrics template) Notarization - lawyer or notary public Authentication - Since i'm from Alberta, I went to this office: www.alberta.ca/document-authentication-other-jurisdictions-countries.aspx Attestation - I sent the authenticated document to Consulate General of the UAE in Toronto Then, to Dubai Police na. Ang haba noh! hehe! Here are the exact words from UAE consulate in Toronto. This is from their response to my email inquiry. " 1. Submit the original or notarized copy of the Document to Official Document Services (ODS) OR to the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (Global Affairs in Ottawa) for authentication. 2. Pay the Consulate General’s fees online (see Payment and Fees section above). 3. Submit the authenticated Certificate to the Consulate General of the UAE in Toronto, with the proof of payment containing the ATS #.​ "

Hi, if you’re submitting online application to Canada immigration, tinatanggap naman nila ang scan copy. That’s what I used for my application.
