Suicidal Doors you can leave the jar in the fridge and scoop some out into a bowl. I usually use a knife to cut a chunk out. Then put the bowl into another bowl of hot water and wait a few minutes for it to melt. That’s what I do since I’m not sure if it should go back and forth between warm and cold lol.

Promiseluv27 no you don’t have to. I just prefer to cause it’s so hot in Texas, my mind tells me it will “last” longer lol.

I use this method for applying my coconut oil in my hair, it’s really good!!!!! However, the only thing I would change is to not shower before applying the coconut oil, because your gonna have to shower AGAIN after you’ve left it in, 2 showers in the same day????? Showering too much is actually bad for hair as the hot water can be damaging but all the water and weight on your hair makes a lot of it fall out. What I do is apply the oil on Saturday night, sleep with it and keep it in allll day until sunday evening, which is when I have a shower. The next day, My hair is ready for school, left shiny soft and healthy. ❤️ Also, don’t put coconut oil in the microwave!!!! I’ve heard it takes out all the nutrients that actually help your hair, don’t know if it’s true but tbh I don’t need to microwave it anyway because it melts really easily, I just keep the jar of oil in front of me and melt a little in my hands and apply it.

Heat is indeed damaging but not so much from water temps. That bond can be easily repaired, as opposed to heat from blow dry/ irons.

Wash your hair with warm water then cold water you shouldn't be washing your hair with hot water, in nature you would usaully only have warm to cold water which is what humans adapted to which is why you shouldn't wash your hair with hot water

Coconut is perfect for hair and brows and everywhere. Good remedies and serums are among the dos too, I think specialists would agree. I've heard about Cherish Brow booster that isn't worse than coconut oil, I personally know only about Cherish Lash and it makes wonders on my eyelashes so I guess all their products are good. Anyways, keep digging and finding top solutions for your hair growth.

DONT MICROWAVE THE COCONUT OIL microwaving the coconut oil removes the natural nutrients if heated to a certain point and it’s not as good for your hair

R a n d o m no it won’t make it curlier, you have to combine it with other products to make it curly, but it will bring moisture and protection to your hair

@@7jbk44 Hey, I don't think so ! I shapoo my hair everytime after applying coconut oil because I had problems with going into the sun with coconut oil in my hair, it burns it ! But once the oil is absorbed by the hair, you can wash it off, it doesn't kill the work it has already done 😊

I leave mine in overnight sometimes i love fall But winter is coming and this helps my hair stay hydrated and easy to detangle. I'm growing my hair to my hips and the oil and not using heat has helped with that alot. Idk what i would do without coconut oil 💕 it works wonders

@@anniewalker6876 there are some pub med studies on how it's good to put it on before you have wet hair because the MCT called lauric acid absorbs into the shaft and prevents hygral fatigue. Make sure it unrefined because the that the only kind with lauric acid.

I use a small amount of coconut oil on my hair after I blow dry it. It makes a huge difference making it smooth not frizzy and so healthy feeling and since it’s a small amount I just leave it in

Just be sure you're not using heat styling after leaving it in hair. It's still oil and will fry your hair

i finally got my coconut oil and used it once in my wash regimen and several times on my hair during and after styling. I love the way it made my hair feel after my wash. As far as a daily regimen use, at times my hair would look a little frizzy. No worries though. I ran across a post on Pintrest (#ilovepintrest) that suggests using the LCO (leave-in, cream, oil) method when using coconut oil in your styling regimen to avoid frizz. The LOC method when using this oil gives hair a frizzy look. Once i switched to LCO when using the coconut oil I noticed the difference. Let me say this may or may no be the case for others. It could depend on your hair type, but I'm not sure. Just wanted to put that our there just in case others have experienced this. If you have and thought about getting rid of your coconut oil....don't before you try the LCO method. The switch may work better for you. I really love the coconut oil and will continue using it as a part of my hair care reform. Thank you Lexis!

No problem girl! So I shampoo with a sulfate free shampoo, then apply coconut oil, then let that sit. Then I get in the shower and rinse the coconut oil out, and shampoo and condition after rinsing the coconut oil. If you don't shampoo, the coconut oil will be hard to get out.

Do a video that has the same idea as how to straighten your hair and keep it for a while

yes it's good for the here but did you know it was also good for the scalp when I couldn't find the normal dandruff shampoo for my daughter that we used anymore I started looking for natural ways and found that coconut oil is extremely good to get rid of dandruff used it about once a week or so and it was fine no more dandruff

I know this video was posted a while back.... just now watching it. Lol recently bought count oil and I’m excited to see how this works with my naturally curly hair. It’s always frizzy which is annoying. Hopefully this helps tame the beast in them. I wanted to know where did you get ur head towel from?? I hate towels that twist and go in the back. Before using coconut oil I use the left over water of boiled rice (cooled down) 😅it makes th haur super shiny.

Norma Corella, loc is leave in, oil and conditioner; loc is the opposite. Some say loc is better if you have low porosity hair, which is 4c or tightly coiled hair. Hair that always has tangles on it. Hope that helps😊

If u Have curly have a 1 hour and a half but if u have straight hair like wavyish leave it on for like 50 mins

Kat N it’s better to let room temperature or body heat melt it. Coconut oil has a low boiling point, so added heat strips it of its nutrients and makes it harmful for the body.
