How To Answer Political Questions And Prepare For Them
What's the best way to prepare for tough, controversial, and political questions? In this video, I describe how to approach those difficult questions that the judges seem to love asking. Instead of memorizing the endless and overwhelming stream of facts out there, there's a better way. The best framework I've developed for preparing for political questions is called the "The Pageant Case Method" and it borrows tried-and-true techniques used by top consultancies and business schools. Instead of working harder, work "smarter" by following three easy steps. This framework offers an efficient, results-oriented way to help you develop a deeper understanding of the issues that you'll be asked to comment on.
The Interview area of competition is already nerve-racking for many of us but the thought of political questions can be especially scary and intimidating. Personally, these unpredictable questions were the thing that kept me up at night and made me the most nervous. I've also fallen into the trap of turning on the news the morning of my interview and being totally clueless as to what the journalists were talking about.. *cue internal screaming*. The dreaaaded part 😂 and an obituary omg 😂😂😂😂 not going to lie I was about to read every news paper you can think of and I felt bad for not enjoying 24/7 news at my age, yup I rather discuss it instead 😂😂😂
