I could tell he was enhancing his words WAY to much… and making it sound WAY to broadway then opera. The phantom of the opera has a certain way of singing that is light but POWERFUL… soft but fearse… enhanced but only at certain points of the song. It’s hard to explain

At first I was like "oh he's not being as expressivly charming as expected?" Then THAT happened 😭

The closed eyes, the repeated wiggle of the head from side to side, the earnest look at the camera ... You nailed it. That just about sums up every wannabe on X Factor, Britain's Got Talent ad infinitum. Well done!
