Really great content. Some tutorial are too basic, some are too complex. I am really enjoying UE... it reminds me a lot of the Arma 3 editor. Your tutorials are very easy to follow and cover some really powerful features.

how do i open the customisation window in the bottom right

Thank you very much! For the car wheels to turn you would need a Skeletal Mesh instead of a Static Mesh. The best way to do this is to search for royalty free cars with animations on SketchFab for example. I will be making a video on how to import custom animatios to UEFN. In my tutorial I will use characters but can use that knowledge to import other type of animations, for example a car with turning wheels.

If i jump into the car why stop and bugg the car?

In that case, you would need a skeletal mesh of a car with custom animations. Or have a car with no tires, attach tires to that car, and animate them separately.

Hey! So i’m newer to animation in UEFN and I have made a few cinematic sequences with a few things in my island and I thought it would be the easiest part of building this project i’m working on right now, but honestly it’s become the biggest pain! For some reason in the editor the sequences on everything look beautiful but in Fortnite when i play them they are laggy, skipping around, buggy, and just broken. This is kinda devastating considering that if this wasn’t an issue i’d be finished with my whole project now. I’m not sure what to do or how to fix this or what exactly is even wrong if anything. I’m not sure if i’m doing something wrong or if that’s just how it is i’m not sure. But if someone could explain a thing or two about this to me and how to possibly fix it i would be SO appreciative! Thank you!

How do i change the seqence bar form these weird nubmers to normal second? For me every second is 30 of these weird units and its a bit confusing

Hey! On top of the sequencer panel, you should see something that says "30 fps" You can click to expand, then go to "Show time as" and select "Seconds"

I believe in that case you would need to have a rigged car and animations for the car wheels, or the car turning and things like that. I will soon make a video on importing animations to UEFN so stay tuned! Also, thank you for watching and leaving a cooment

how do use the triggers?

In the level sequence everything works fine, the camera, the props moving etc. but when i start the actual game in fortnite, it doesnt work. The only thing that works is the camera movement but the actual props are not there, you know what could be the reason?
