We recently took a look at how to animate like Lemmino where we covered the 2D aspect of it. This time we will be tackling the 3D aspect of it. The style is super similar to Imperial, Neo, and Fern to name a few. It's all heavily reliant on good narratio/story but also really well composed 3D scenes. The most important parts of it are lighting, models, environment, and camera movement.

I've been working with blender for a couple years and have been repeating the Imperial style for myself and I have to say that it's actually much deeper and not as simple as it seems, but this video does a great job of showing the base, great job!

You can definitely go in and get pretty advanced especially if you start to incorporate sims, multiple cameras etc. I’ll have to do more videos on it and slowly get deeper

Imo I think 3d modeling/animation skills are gonna be the next must-have skill for video editors. If you look at a lot of new big documentary style channels, the video editors do 3d modeling as well (fern, hoog, imperial).

Bro, thx for everything i really appreciate what you doing... I wish i could donate or something but i think u know... Most of us here learning this to make some money. I wish you make more videos about DaVinci resolve especially about magnets media and vox style. Because actually you know we are beginners and have no money ( we can't do risk ) so we are forced to use free or paid lifetime programs Sorry for my English and this long comment but you can't understand how this can be life changing. Again... Thanks man, keep going.
@mapal

Thank you! And there is absolutely no need to donate anything. Watching, commenting, liking, and subscribing is more than enough! I don’t have any experience doing animations in Davinci so it’s not something I can teach. At least not at this current point in time. The Adobe apps are definitely not cheap. Most of the time you can talk to their support and get a discount. If you’re a student you can get a discount.

It’s actually pretty simple if you get a model that’s already rigged. Then all you’ll have to do is animate the position and the wheels will automatically rotate accordingly!!

Hi Mapal, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us, I have a request for a tutorial on one of the recent videos @fern, it could be the one he posted about McDonald's or that of the sh**ting during Trump campaign. I will love to learn the process.
I know I wasn't wrong by subscribing to your channel. Please whats the genre of background sounds used in those types of videos?

How are you baking and rendering these in a practical time frame?
@mapal
23 күн бұрын
Some of these are fairly quick to render especially if you play around with the samples. Sometimes you can get away with a lot less, which saves some time. Outside of that just a lot of rendering overnight or whilst working on something else. I do know they have render farms but I have no experience with them myself
what are the yt/channels or courses you like to follow ?
