In this video, I'll show you how to add stickers to text messages on your iPhone. We'll look at adding the default stickers, like emojis and Memojis, and then how to add sticker packs from the App Store.
To get started, find and open the Messages app, and then head to or start a new text.
Once you're here, we can then look at a couple of ways to add stickers. Let's look first at how to do it through the keyboard.
On the left of the message bar above the keyboard, you'll see a plus sign. Choose this.
From the popup menu that appears, tap Stickers.
You'll then be taken to the sticker menu. From here, you can browse through and choose the sticker you want to add.
You have the choice of the default emojis, any custom ones you've made, and apps that you have installed on your phone that have some of their own. For example, Roadtrippers has its own custom stickers.
When you find one that you like, you have two options for adding them. You can just tap the sticker to add it to the message box, or you can select and drag the sticker onto the message you want to add it to. For instance, if I select this one and drag it onto this message here, you'll then see I've added it to that message.
You can also add more stickers inside of here by using the store. Scroll to the end of the menu bar here, and tap Edit.
Inside of here, you can sort and remove sticker packs, but at the bottom, you can also choose Get Sticker Apps on the App Store.
This will take you to the sticker section on the App Store, where you can browse and get or purchase more stickers to use.
One last way I'll show you how to add them is by finding the message here that you want to add to, and then pressing and holding on it.
When the menu appears, choose Add Sticker.
After that, the same sticker menu will appear like before, where you can then look through and add one to that specific message.
And finally, you can also remove a sticker that you've added by pressing and holding on the message that has it, choosing Sticker Details from the menu here, and then swiping to the left and hitting the trash can on them. After you do that, it'll remove the sticker from the message.
And that's how you add stickers to text messages on your iPhone.
