Would a 2 screw damper like the Salice be more solid for a frame mounted door? Also, do the adjustment screws on some dampers do position adjustment and others tension adjustment?

This Grass one secures very well to faceframes and never had an issue.

@@Woodworkerexpress Thanks! I just noticed that my door overlaps the frame opening when it is open (as does yours in the video) and I am concerned that it may interfere with the damper piston. What is the clearance of the piston from the mounting surface on the frame?
Do I need to remove the door to install this?
