No, you cannot use simple printed paper. The letters come attached to special material which can be used with an iron and a cotton press cloth. Find these iron on letters at our website, FashionArtProjects.

When using iron on letters, make sure to use a cotton press cloth, like a banana or a pillowcase between the letters and the iron to protect your jacket surface.

Hi Angie! Generally our letters work best on cotton/polyester blend fabric. According to customer feedback, any other fabric does not stick as well and/or peels off. I hope this helps!

If u want to do both side of ur shirt do u just do the same as the other side

The packaging says to wash the iron on letters before using, is that necessary? if so do i just wash it in the washer machine or simply run it under some water?

Hi Zoey! We suggest it. Just put it through the wash, following the directions on the article of clothing.

can you apply to 88 % polyster /12% spandex ?
