How to add Current Date or Time Stamp to newly added records in MS Access Table - Office 365
In some MS Access tables you may need to keep track of the date or date and time the new record is added. You can have Access automatically fill in the date or time stamp when a new record is added. You can use Now or Date function to fill the time stamp or date in to the field automatically when a new record is added.

Great video. I am using a barcode scanner to check items in and our in a lending library type of database. It's a very simple setup. Scan the item barcode which is one column and date/time which is the next column over. The problem is when I scan the next item, it populates in and replaces what's in the date/time column instead of going down to the next row. Is there a way to prevent this from happening ?
Never knew this, it also even works with the old access databases (at least Access 95, Jet 3.51)

Is this right?? to me it looks like the actual date/time is entered into the next blank record and so the new record has the date/time from the previous record. Or am I missing something?
In my ms acces date is showing like this..... 10/10/269 what to do to correct it.... Year ia not showing
Sir how can I start out time after 6 hour.. Because It takes same time in time and out time..pls
