How to: Add an LED demo to small model engines
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This is a straightforward way to add an LED demonstration to your small engine. Uses the coil from an synchronous motor as an alternator coil and 10 neodymium magets on the flywheel. The exact size of the magnets is not too important, anything from 8mm dia x 5mm thick upwards should work.
A steel backing for the magnets is much better, but I fitted this to a cardboard engine as a proof of concept.

Excellent demonstration of how to make a homemade generator! mostly showing the position of the magnets 'north and south'. Congratulations on the project.
Very cool. Almost ready to buy one of your kits. :)

Esta excelente amigo! Good job !! Me encantó !!
Muy buen trabajo. FELICIDADES.
Good idea
We had to straighten the two halves, you would have twice as much current.
your really good with those, why not build a big one with a 55 gallon drum for displacer.
Big Machine Mini Light :D

I am not sure why put the magnets, what is its function?
