Can I go with custom instead of namecheap web hosting?

There is no "Addon Domains" in my cPanel, though my shared hosting allows 3 addon domains. How else can I add ?

Really helpful video, thank you so much. A quick question, after adding a domain , will I still have to upload the site via the file manager? if yes how will one separate the new uploaded site from the previous one already on the file manager?

Yes, you will need to add the site either by uploading the files in File Manager or installing WordPress. If installing in File Manager, you would need to navigate to the document root folder as seen in the video. In most cases, the folder will be named after your domain (example.com).

Is it a newly registered domain? In some cases, it could take up to 48 hours for all of the information to propagate.

I'm not familiar with that hosting provider so you will need to reach out to them for the exact process. You'll just need their nameservers and connect the domain, assuming they're using cPanel.

@@godfreysamuel4343 Dude, I had those issues too, and the best decision was to put everything on Namecheap, less pain in the ass, and the customer service there is just simply amazing.

@@leinyuyromaric7840 He explains how to change the name server if you have the domain registered with namecheap. He does not explain how to do it when you have the domain at another registrar. The solution explained in this video works only after you transfer the domain and they (namecheap) become your registrar.
