Hi Lukk, I read somewhere the perfect DS rundowns like J1098ds,qj109ds,ect. are not great candidates for 3bets since they prefer to keep less connected gappers as a cold calls.Do you agree with that logic Thx

I'm not Luuk, but I normally tend to flat the higher DS rundowns ones like K or Q-high to have the lower ones dominated and because aces are a decent part of their nuttiness. I 3-bet rundowns from J to 9-high to hopefully make kings or queens fold and because their fare better than higher ones against AA.

When you are 3b a hand in your AKKx range that you mentioned, how would you respond to a 4b, assuming 100bb deep?

This would be a fold vs a 4-bet. Any paired hand that is not AA is almost always a fold facing a 4-bet, especially a tight 4bet range. paired hands generally play very poorly against a 4-betting range that heavily consists of AA as these won't flop very smoothly and will end up stacking off incorrect very often or having to fold on the flop.

I was wondering about the characteristics of JJ and TT that are flats (9%) or 3B (6%). I assume something like JJ98ds would be a 3B, while KJJTss could be a flat? Unblocking KK or blocking AA has to be a factor there, right?

These are Jacks with an Ace in there, so we block AA. At the same time these are Jacks that dont have a K or Q, as we want to make KK/QQ fold. Its basically AJJds and AJJss to the Ace with Kx/Qx

Do you 3-bet any non A- high ss rundowns? Do you 3-bet ds rundowns (no A) if we know that we will be in a multiway pot? How about 3-betting ds rundowns from blinds?

1. No, generally these hands are NOT a great candidates to 3-bet with. Especially not vs tight ranges 2. If you have less fold equity you should always consider all options. The reason for 3-betting many of these is to push out high pairs/suits, so yes, the EV can become lower/worse if this happens. 3. yes, this is often a good strategy if you are strong connected and preferable have an Ace.

luuk is everything in this video actual currently? you're saying we never 3bet KK without A mp vs ep but what about KKTT KKJJ KKQQ $ds? Is it real that we coldcall AKK2$ss suited to the ace but 3betting AKK2$ss suited to the K ep vs mp?

That is correct yes. Although KKQQ$ds is actually a 3-bet here, I would simplify to a strategy that is implementable and use the rules from this video to 3-bet vs coldcall.

This is wrong to not 3betting KKxx without A, you can easily 3bet KK89, KK910, and all similar composition while they are carrying good 4betcalling ranges being double suited versus AAXX. Also ofc a lot of table dynamics tell you what u can 3bet and not, you can easily play a lot looser with bad players or some super nit players. Especially with nit player over 200bb or would prefer more over 300bb on hands. Solvers and GTO play tell you some part of the game but not the table dynamics etc.. And ofc rake matter a lot of calling 3bets that's why you can call looser on 3bet in bigger stakes where the rake is not crushing your hand. Ofc i might be wrong but this has made me a lot of money on lower and mid stakes.
