Beautiful epilogue! My son had the same issues, and unfortunately, he still does at 36. We found out that the meningitis he had at age 7, plus a severe head trauma, did this, and we’ve been fighting this for almost 30 years. Best of luck and a million prayers for you and your son!

Wonderful organization ideas, and beautifully filmed. The last part, in which you share a glimpse of your and your son's relationship, was completely unexpected and so endearing. Thank you for reminding us that while we can try to keep an orderly environment, life is never perfect---it's often messy and out of our control. Sometimes I see what mothers do like this or say, then I realize what I lack(/lost); it's a lot of big things, and a lot of small things that amount to a big difference too. Hearing good things like your epilogue is so warm. I'm quite old(compared to a teenager) but it's not too late to apply I guess; better late than never? 😅 What a lovely video, thank you for sharing your insights. God bless you and your family!

Great ideas except for lighting a candle next to a bed that can easily lead to disaster. Instead I bought, IKEA metal hurricane lamps and put in rechargeable tea lights, and it gives nearly the same ambience with the safety of not worrying about fire, especially when you’re drowsy, fall asleep, and leave fire unattended.💜

What people don’t tell you about smaller spaces is just how good you have to be about putting things back where they belong.

You can lift your bed using PVC pipe. Buy pipe wide enough for the bed legs to slide into. Then cut the pipe into sections as high as you want your bed. Slip each leg into a pipe section to raise the bed. You can also paint the pipes. It's very cheap and looks sleek. Thanks for all your ideas!

@@nondescript4311 If there is a person who fails and is disappointed without making an effort, I think that person is a . It's not that you don't want to try, it's that you want to do well. You might be worried that you won't do well. But no one is good at the beginning. Even if you just try and don't do well, that in itself is a great learning. You learn from failure... You don't have to do something grandiose or mean. I want you to feel at ease. Living without effort like now is easy on the body, but I don't think it's easy on the mind. Even if the effort does not yield results right away, the effort is stored in my body. Whatever you do with the next step, the effort you put in before will surely help. Some of the hard work we do now pays off in a year or 10 years. All the experiences in my life have come together to make me who I am today. It took me 20 years... ^^;; I hope my article is helpful.

I never really put in much efforts into things since i got them fairly easily but in past few years the difficulty levels increased tenfold and i couldn't live the way i was living before. I got depressed. I know there are others who were exceptionally good in childhood/adolescence but got bad in later life. It took me some time to actually start putting in efforts. I am indeed a lazy perfectionist. I never found someone who understood me so quickly. You're a really wise person.

Omg you just gave me the perfect idea to hold my vinyl records with that wire grid! It looks so cute but minimal. Exactly what I’ve been looking for. All these ideas are super cute and affordable. Thank you 💕 also the hot chocolate moment with your son is very sweet

Hard days pass like the passing rain... I think you need to find your self-esteem first and the mental illness will get better. And let's live just for today, let's live for another day tomorrow... As I was thinking like this, a moment came when I suddenly thought, 'I'm glad I was alive...' While treating depression, I learned what is most important in life. And then I realized the importance of children. Depression turned out to be a turning point in my life. I started tidying up to treat depression, and while cleaning, I even made a KZread channel, so I'm receiving so much love from everyone~ It hurt my heart a lot, so I was able to make a video that heals other people. In a few years, both T Miller and your daughter will surely come to a moment where they want to say, "It was good to be alive. This is what happiness is..."... I will support you from afar too.

These are wonderful and useful ideas. Thank you for sharing them! I liked the epilogue, too. I'm sure your son appreciates your empathy and acknowledgement of his struggles as a teenager.

Wow I watched this looking for storage reviews and ended it by sobbing. Your son is so lucky to have these golden moments with you, and thank you so much for providing this understanding for him. You are so open about your family life, I hope it helps to share. Tell your son being a teenager was hard for all of us. And there is only one of him in the world. He was put here for a reason. He could cure cancer, he could be a great father that helps foster kids or he could just grow up and be a really good person in society. We all need really good people around us. What he does and what ever he is , he is good enough and will make his parents proud.

There are a lot of gadget solution videos out there. Most are trying to sell something that doesn't look like it will be practical and will break with normal use. I'm impressed that you give multiple options for things - not just concentrating on one product. (Even though there are IKEA and Daiso products shown, they are not terribly specialized and could probably be found even at a thrift store.) Then - bonus! I'm suddenly reading encouraging words and finish watching with a warm, calm feeling in my chest and it's a little easier to breathe. I'm so glad I clicked on your beautiful video! Thank you! 💜

Hi from Portugal! 🥰 your video was so incredibly warm and comfortable, like a nice big hug. I thought it would just be organizational ideas but it had such a beautiful message at the end. I suppose we all feel so so many things when we are teenagers we don’t know quite what to do with it, it was like that when I was a teen! Now that I’m 23 those feelings had definitely calmed but even adults feel doubts sometimes, it’s natural, like you said in the video.
