TCP/UDP port is 27015. If that is not correct users won’t be able to join.

Nope, its not working, me and my friend -> did the same and it still give us the "Unable to establish a connection with the gameserver." For both of us, if i create it or my friend.

If you ask a friend to connect in the lobby, it will say you have been disconnected.

You only need to make changes when your IPv4 local IP address changes which is not often. You’ll give them your public IP address as shown in the video.

I don’t think you’ll be able to access the default gateway via the extender. You’ll need to be directly connected to your router.

The only way is likely if you join someone who has followed this tutorial with their home internet.

Why does it say my lan ip is invalid?

For me i cant see the wan starting port at the wan ending port i only see remote port and local port

WAN port is likely the same as remote port. Use the same port number for them.

It will always work on lan because lan uses private ips.

Hey where are you referring to? The time stamp you commented is at the very end of the video. If you’re looking for the port it will always be 27015.

It varies based on each provider, but I’d assume the same of 27015.

I do not, but if you were not aware you may be able to find it on your own by using the “find” command. For example you could do “find bot” in console and it will show you a list of all the commands related to bot.

Literally F**K Valve for completely breaking every aspect of CSGO just to make some graphics and smoke physics "better". Such a ridiculous joke that we're MONTHS into CS2 replacing CSGO and there is barely anything working.

If it’s asking for a range of ports you can use 27015-27015. Internal host I would assume to be your IPv4 address. If you want to join my discord, I can help you further there.

It's not that hard getting people's public ip address Unless you've got a whole ass botnet or such and a set of vulnerable ports, you can't ddos anyone easily, that just seem like a whole lot of scare for nothing since most of the vulnerabilities are gonna come from the user rather than the system nowadays

Hmm if the port forwarding settings are correct and your IPv4 address has not changed, it might be a different issue. This may occur due to firewall settings typically.

Does it look something like this? 2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334 There could be a chance your home network is using an IPv6 address which is very uncommon. How are you connected to the internet? Is it through your home network?

@@DanFMN I’m connected Ethernet to my router. I have Xfinity and the only way to do port forwarding is through the mobile app. It has games like csgo there. I followed ur tutorial as closest as I could with my setup and it worked. Thank you!

@@DanFMN It's because of CGNAT. Which some internet providers give the exact same ip to multiple people and port forwarding becomes impossible through your own router. You have to either pay your provider for a static ip adress or buy a service that will let you port forward through their systems.

This was easier in 2009
