​@@squidward8125most games dont do that. Infact, most games characters are written so poorly that you dont care when they die. Only your character does. But in rdr2, you form a bond with every gang member. When they die, atleast for me. I was bummed out & by the end, when everyone Arthur cared for was dead. I too was ready to join them in the afterlife, as Arthur. So when Arthur buys John time to escape & John says "keep pushing Arthur" & Arthur goes, "nope! Ive pushed all i can". I felt that shit. No other game has made me feel for fictional characters, like rdr2 did. A once in a lifetime gaming experience imo.

Karen’s bank job plan was much smarter than any plans given by Dutch. We scored around $20,000 dollars on that job alone.

20000 they split like 3000-4000 with each other depending on how much cash u took(I took all of em and got split 3000)they probably all gave 1000 to the gang leaving the gang with 12000 which they spent on gang funds and saved the rest that's why

Mary Beth's more Hotter in my opinion

Tilly is where it's at! My favorite supporting character. If you spend real time at camp, especially during nighttimes around the fire... She tells stories of bloodthirsty witches, yet is a full on sweetheart to the fire too. A sweetheart that will kill if needed, proof is in the pudding, because she had already killed. She has all the layers. Extra awesome. Mary-Beth is a dreamer, a poetic thinker, a cutie pie type!!! She is a great character too, and she seems to have a real connection to Arthur... Honestly I could see them having crushes that were under the surface, as Arthur sees himself as older than he even is, due to wear n tear of the lifestyle. It's great to see what Marybeth ends up doing in the post story. Karen is a really honest take of what most likely happened to sooooooo many people back then... Whom had a read importance but is a fully lost soul, trying to do what it takes to survive. She is a throw back. She still has one foot in the gang style, even while gangs were subsiding due to how the government was "cleaning up' the country, evolving it toward peaceful existence and a slower life. Karen can't adjust... She feels like her days are over, she is alive for the sake of being alive. Noone really knows what happened to Karen when the gang fades away,disconnects. Many feel as if she was sent out into the world alone, never having had been alone before, yet also never realized that because she always felt a lost soul within "the family" setting the gang tried to give on another. As the world wound down into a slower lifestyle, as there were less and less wandering folks along the road. I would bet MANY people were sent kicking and screaming into the countryside alone, unable to adjust, drinking themselves into life threatening ailments, dying sloshed up. Very good character development across the board in the game. Again, I love Tilly ... She has been through slave control, physical abuse, sexual violence at a young age... Somehow she held onto her sweethearted way of being, also while having hardened a very honest way of seeing the world. Somehow, even with her demons, she held them inside, while living calculated, yet still taking time to look up and see the rainbows. Literally, ya get a interaction with her and Arthur at the view along the edge of the first camp when they get out of the snowy mountains. She reminds Arthur to see the rainbow, and remember the beauty of life. Even while they are running from demons.

Wow the way you describe Tilly was so beautifully written. Wow I really love Tilly too, and I love the fact that she was the last girl to say her true goodbyes to Author and had a better ending than everyone else. She deserves it ❤

I love Tilly so much I named this little feral cat that hangs around my home after her. I'm so happy to know her back story beyond the Foreman brothers

@@JPEGMECHA don’t know how to explain it, it’s like the lighting and colour of her face makes her look weird in-game. Playing I never perceived her as a beautiful character unlike the other girls, but looking at the real person I realize she is stunning.

My favorite call from Arthur is when he says "TILLY" while greeting her in camp. 😂

i love these girls so much, they’re the heart and soul of the camp.

Glad 2 of them got out of that life and did well for themselves, Tilly always wanted a family as she said (during her saving mission i think) and Mary-Beth always wanted to be a writer, it's sad to know that Karen died, she was already broken before Sean's death but Sean's death really broken her more

Karen's death wasn't confirmed. Tilly just assumed she probably drank herself to death, but didn't know for sure because she lost track of her.

Unsure if it’s canonical information but the wiki mentions Karen meeting Javier and Arthur in Tucson, Arizona after helping in a bank robbery dressed as a nun.

I got some inklings as to what Tilly's story was, but I never got enough to piece out her full backstory till now. Girl has been through it, man.

Karen was the only one of these two who actually participated in the outlaw life. She helped rob the valentine bank and she defended the house during the O’Driscoll attack. She is also the only woman other than Sadie to do guard duty.

My favorite part about this game has to be just how human everyone looks

Red dead characters are awesome. Been watching this while loading rdr2 online

In the story, it really shows how they are really good friends, and Tilly says that Karen felt like a sister to her but what ever happened to Karen

A red dead redemption three would be pretty great if it was yet another precruel showing the start an introduction of every single member of the Vanderlinde gang and how are they all got together and then the final mission would be the Blackwater job

If you don't kill Anthony foreman as Arthur he becomes a bounty for John

Karen is a strange character for me. You see a lot of her especially in chapter 2, but don't know anything about her background. Then towards the end of the game she just disappears, and we never find out what happened to her. Just a bit strange from rockstar imo.

technically we do find out what happened, according to tilly its most likely she drank herself to death, which is most likely what happened seeing how she was going by chapter 6. I also think it's mentioned that when mary-beth, tilly, etc leave the gang karen left as well, swanson tried to get them to leave earlier but they didnt

Karen is a mystery not much background hardly any mention of her in epilogue either

Just finished replaying the game, after five years ( the last time I couldn’t go chapter 4 I stopped just before the bank robbery ) Cried like a kid again. I hate Dutch more than I hate Micah And also I am very “ disappointed “ to not have the possibility to do more jobs with the ladies of the camp I really love them all, I sympathize with Karen pain… I sympathize with Tilly fierce attitude, I sympathize with Mary Beth romantic mind but not one to underestimate… I still don’t like molly even though I wish I could have helped her when she wanted to talk to Arthur but instead uncle show up 😂 But I despise Abigail more than ever. She is so selfish and ungrateful and unfair to John Yes John has been a bad father but he quickly try to make things right with Abigail and Jack But I particularly have a soft spot for Karen… her most likely death by alcoholism makes me very sad Tilly I just “ love her “ because she is so beautiful while being this… wild and free mind with also a great personality. Karen… I don’t know I just think she could have been saved

All the characters feel so real to me bro, I legit am emotionally attached to all these characters like family, just going through the game again, knowing the terrible outcome of the game at the end, walking through camp as Arthur and saying hello to all the members (besides Micah) puts a smile on my face. Like bro how is a game so good that I literally feel love for the characters like family 😭

Yep! In my first gameplay I danced with Mary Beth, and in my 2nd I was super surprised to dance with Karen!

I felt such a satisfaction when Colm got hanged. For Kieran, Annabelle and Sadie‘s husband

@@gagancs1743 I mean none of the characters in the gang are good people cuz they're outlaws of thieves and murderers but Dutch was always a bad person who tried helping out lost souls and teaching them to be loyal to him and better criminals. Dutch showed his true colors when he killed Heidi McCord in the Blackwater Heist in a bad way told from a lot of the gang members and really shook them up creating doubts in John.

I agree but if were talking unnecessary then i say Swanson. Dude literally did 0 work and brought it 0 money and 0 intel for jobs that they could do. At least Tilly did chores around camp. Swanson just exists and spends the entire game drugging himself or drinking.

First of all she "exists" in more than one mission: there's the one where you take the girls to Valentine, then she can be a part of a stagecoach mission if you decide to do it, then of course the one where she gets kidnapped. That's 3. Also she is one of Arthur's "psy", you can confide to her at some point in camp. Finally, she's seen during the part with John and her story gets a great ending. In all, she's there for a reason and she's super memorable.

@@jonathanturbide2232 She has that mini mission/encounter where she invites arthur to play dominos too, and also has a camp item request, she participates on a stagecoach robbery, also in ch6 at the end she takes Jack to Abigail when shit starts going bad. And to top it all off, Tilly (along with Mary-Beth) is the only one of the gang who genuinely had a good life . She got married and had a baby and lives in St. Denis..John even gets to talk to her during epilogue. Tilly was Far from just “existing” 😂she had more screen time than Swanson, Mary-Beth, Pearson, Grimshaw, even Kieran.

Honestly for ages Karen’s face was fuzzy for me I always forgot what she looked like. For. Obvious reasons…..
