Fire Dept. Coffee Founder and CEO, Luke Schneider started drinking coffee while in the Navy as a way to stay awake while working long hours. After leaving the Navy and becoming a professional firefighter, he fell in love with the craft of coffee. Luke was able to combine his passion for the fire service and coffee. Now, what started as a dream has developed into something he never imagined.

My uncle Ben was in the Navy for many years, starting in WWII. While home on leave, he made a pot of Navy coffee. I don’t recall my mother’s exact words describing the taste, but it was undrinkable by civilians. When I have extra money on hand, I plan on gifting your coffee to some firehouses. Thank you so much for your service. I'm very grateful that you are risking your lives every day for us and still makes us happy with your coffee. I'm still too young to drink coffee and I am not American. But I support all of you from Switzerland 🙏🏻💖. Also I really want to become a firefighter when I'm older.

Really enjoy the content . am starting to see the humor in your video's compared to reality lol i am new the fire service and yes we do have or have had your products but coffee doesn't last long at any station and thank you for all you have done .

Even more reason to be better to bees and other beings and the planet. Without them we won’t have coffee among most other things we eat, wear, build with, use as medicine, etc.
After recent events in the news, I am leaving years of dedicated patronage to BRCC behind in search for the next best thing. I just ordered some Stipe from you guys in the hopes that you are that next best thing! Looking forward to it!

Same, I really really do hope FDC stays supporting true American values. I love to get my coffee and know that a percentage is going towards the heroes that keep our country safe.

That military coffee depends on who’s in charge of the coffee mess. Some of it was like sludge and burnt tasting…add creamer and it turned gray. Ew.
Never been there. I sometimes wish mandatory military service was reintroduced in my country. Just to have someone tell me what to do (on a good direction) so I don't have to think. Thinking is so bothersome...
Well my military transition all started when I realized I was a women trapped in a man’s body… The army wasn’t so fond of it, but the navy accepted me with open arms! (among other things)
