How things changed
Our family is growing and we have learnt so much about each other as individuals in our marriage and as parents. Together with our children, we have created wonderful memories, rituals and traditions that are unique to our family. It's been beautiful and it has been a rocky transition of self to integrate into the sum of parts. Cozy up and tune in as we discuss some of the things we have learnt and what makes us who we are over a cuppa and @bakersbiscuits

One thing I love about this couple, is how they use their marriage and family to glorify the kingdom of God. What a beautiful family.
The day I get into a relationship, trust me I’ll be the best boyfriend in the world and that’s because of the personal work I’ve done and became aware of because of this channel
Brendon is so wise. Mpoomy is so wholesome i learn alot from these two.

One thing about Mpoomy, you will never walk away from listening to what she has to say empty handed. You come heavy hearted and walk away with something that will carry you and empower you to want to become a better version of yourself. I appreciate the time you gift us with and share with us ❤
One thing that stood out for me is that having a spiritual identity givies you a great sense of identity and being secure ❤❤
When Brenden said ‘you wake up super early’ I immediately thought of Proverbs 31:15 (NIV). And Brenden is soo wise- we missed you on our screens. Thoroughly enjoyed this conversation😊 God bless you 🫶🏿
Really love conversations with Brenden. He is wise and we share the same sentiments. Good talk ✨👏🏾
"Having a hobby outside of reality" ❤
Mrs Ledwaba u are blessed-your husband has innate WISDOM!!! Thank you for bringing him to the channel 🙏🏽
Hey Mpoomy, I think what can help with the language this is something my parent's did for us when we were little. When they are more acquainted with Brendon's home language you could choose a day of the week where only that language is spoken. So similar to what people do when transitioning to a plant based diet ( Meat Free Mondays), you could have a day where there's no english. It would probably be a challenge at first but with time I'm sure the kids would get the hang of speaking and thinking in that language. Also, books will definitely help so it could be on days when you've chosen to stay in and read with the kids.

Thank you for sharing, I am also in the same boat as I speak Sesotho, indoda speaks Afrikaans and we taught children that we speak English in our home, so now we staying in Cape Town and my son is exposed to Isixhosa at school and it's a 3rd additional language. Language issue is a real thing 😂

True this, my kids' Nguni is definitely improving since we kind of enforced this method to them. Immediately when they get in the car from school, we speak Zulu n Xhosa, which has helped a lot. Yes bayabheda n funny how they speak it but the muscle is developing 😂

if he you think he feels intimidated, then unfortunately you married the wrong person, because it means every time you're with him, then you have to numb yourself down to be a person you're not, and that's not a healthy marriage

Beautiful conversation. Much needed to keep family together ❤❤❤and with vision and goals.
I enjoyed this conversation so much. I love the part about having hobbies or activities that you do together especially outside work. I have observed that with my family (Mom and siblings), as much as we grew up not exposed to certain things, we are slowly learning new things together, trying out activities together and our bond has grown so much.
My faves💛💛, such a wholesome conversation full of so much wisdom.
Always Authentic and Amazing ❤

Absolutely loved the conversation, I definitely took some notes! Can we have more of these👌🏿👍🏿
I love all the content on this channel♥️ but my favorite is definitely the sit downs with you and Brendon. The conversations are always so relatable.
I absolutely love love these kind of conversations. My fiance and I have found ourselves having to literally sit down and openly talk about things we thought were "normal" growing up and make a decision to not carry them into our marriage and household. Your point about spirituality is key for me as well. A family needs to know their stronghold cause that just gives fruit to every other aspect of life. I enjoyed this one, thanks guys!
Listen! So happy to see your hubby on the channel🎉
Absolutely loved this !!!!!❤)❤❤❤
Better together, love you two fam ❤🙏

FINALLY an episode with Brendan - I love you guys together so much. Please can we get more of this!
I enjoyed watching this so much. Love from Namibia 🇳🇦 ❤️
I love the conversations between you two ❤
Never a dull moment with you two! First of all you were both deeply missed and I am glad Mrs moms mentioned how you guys are in a different season! Which most of us try and hold instead of embracing every season of your/our lives without judgment or guilt! This conversation was very informative and reminded me of the book the light we carry by Michelle Obama when she mentioned how her mother's mother had a family tradition where they'd always come to the glass table together during meals but however the kids weren't allowed to speak a single word! And how exciting Michelle's mom felt when the table was broken! And I took perception from it when Brenden mentioned how important it is to have a family tradition of having meals together as a family on one table! A table of freedom, authenticity, love, healthiness and ofcourse catch ups which most of us didn't have coz that table was just meant for food only and no single conversation! This installment made me revisit my childhood too and how I'd want to unlearn certain things and create a healthy environment for my family! Thanks you guys❤️. Lots of Love!
I love listening to you guys 😊
Just the other day I was I hoping for one of these and look, won’t God do it 😮🎉❤. A Mpoomy and Brendan conversation is always fascinating 🔥.
You guys are one of my favourite couple. You are such beautiful human beings and I love your authenticity, your love for God, each other and your family ❤️
OOOH man i enjoyed this episode so much you guys arae amazing
Brendon is really a head.. soo much wisdom!
I really felt a lot inclined 2 wat Brandon spoke about allowing kids to play also not restricting them. With a bigger goal of allowing them to be disciplined or rather disciplining themselves. Weirdly it resonates with me & I didn't think there's sm1 else who has the same belief. I like u guys💝
