What most people in a civilized country don’t know what it means to grow up in an uncivilized colture. When big business always takes the lowest bid for a product they never see how the lowest bid is arrived at. We see some of the best computerized equipment and in the same picture we see guys in sandals and no breathing protection or eye covering.

I think they are just recycling the PET, they don't show anything that looks like the chemical processes that would be needed to convert it to PVC.

Very nice and smart work by Pakistani Plastic recyclers. In US only very little plastic material gets recycled. The recycling collectors toss the Soda Bottles out if they have a Plastic Label on it, which means more then 50% of bottles that we think we are recycling, get thrown out in the regular garbage, due to labels. But look at Pakistanis, they are removing the plastic bottle labels, however tedious the job, but they are doing a better job, then Americans.

Seems the US problem stems from the lazy consumers who can't be bothered to tear the labels off the bottles before throwing them out for recycling. The labels are even marked and slightly split showing where to pull to take them off, pure laziness.

We recycle plastic, but in order to save plastic, we mix it with sand in a ratio of 30/70 and get beautiful products. We manufacture equipment for this technology, and in many countries of the world there are enthusiasts who are ready to engage in plastic recycling, but the main problem is the indifference of officials, big business and there is no investment in real and not ostentatious events, although recently I see that the world is turning its face to this problem, slowly , but turns around.

Seems the plastic from the caps floats on water but the PET from the bottles sinks thus allowing easy separation. I never knew that.

So happy to see waste turned into something else. Americans have to be way up on the list of wasters, if not #1. I do my part and try hard. Lotsa ❤

Before you go into full-on worshipping of Third Worlders as being superior. That shown here is anti-recycling. Absolutely none of it going back into the manufacturing of PET bottles. In fact the post-consumer PET is being diverted away into useless poles and beams so that future PET bottles get made from petroleum.

Damn those people work hard that is back breaking work. The one dude that fills the bucket and walks back and fourth goes up the steps and dumps the bucket in the machine holy shit wow! All they would have to do it set up a conveyor system you load up the belts set it at a slow pace and it dumps it into the hopper but instead piss on the poor dude just go back and forth all day fill walk step up and dump. And the people cutting off labels all day instead of dumping it on the ground and wade through it should keep in the bags and dump in hoppers and contain it then go through the labels . So weird have it bagged the scatter the shit all over the dirt wow have my respect probably making $10.00a day

You'll not see any people in the modern world working under those horrendous conditions, we did that 100 years ago, but luckily we have moved on to more modern and safe ways to do things. These poor guys working in that hazardous environment, will experience a whole lot of respiratory diseases from inhaling all that micro plastic dust. No old guys was working there as you could see, only young and fresh guys, with young and fresh lungs.
