Year after your comment. I feel like this is my same situation, the biggest issue is the distance. We live an ocean and most of a continent apart. We try to move on now and then... but it usually takes a lot of denial and never works.. I knew who he was from the past almost instantly. But he doesn't believe what an amazing person he is
