It was built in Gujarat because it was the birth place of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Tho many Indians also agree that his stache should’ve been built in Telangana, since his main job was in Hyderabad, reuniting the province back in India

But not on the worst stone ..that serves nothing to people in carona...etc

The late honourable Sri Patel, I rate him much higher than Gandhi and Nehru , I don't think he would have approved spending so much money on the statue.
