I personally REALLY like Windows Vista the most. Aero with the big windows icon makes it very unique and I think that it should be implemented into different version of windows.

You can do that in Windows 7 too. Small taskbar icons + Open-Shell Or RetroBar. That too.

I like Windows experience (Luna green) more

My personal favourites are Windows XP and 7. I do like the Windows 11 taskbar as well though.

I love the XP, 7 and 8.1 taskbars and it's not even because of nostalgia bias lol

I really liked the oversized Vista orb, it being slightly larger than the taskbar height. I liked it so much back in the day that I used a few skins and customization programs to make the family computer running Windows XP look more like Vista, without upgrading it. It also fit with the design of the Microsoft Office 2007 apps, which all used to have an orb with the Office logo in the top left corner of the screen.

Vistas my favorite, then 7, then xp. Those are all I’m ranking.

I made my Windows 7 Starter Edition computer look like Windows 7 Pro by putting a aero glass theme pack and changing it’s wallpaper.

Why does the Windows 10 taskbar feel so nostalgic (and when I mean Windows 10, I mean the original version. People still use Windows 10 today but they mostly use the 22H2 version of it, which has loads of changes since the original version)

Windows 1.0 also HAD a taskbar! Sadly it's too simple

The Windows XP one is one of my favorites but i like Windows 7's and Windows 8.1's. I don't think Windows 8.1 is terrible. It's actually better than Windows 7.

Windows 7 Basic was the most ugly one. Why haven't you showed us the compact modes for Windows 7 8 and 10? They were removed with Windows 11, and the default taskbar became taller.

@@MalachCoolGamer2537 this feature is actually coming back to windows with windows 11 but microsoft didnt put it as priority features so it may take some time to get a fully functional moving taskbar though
